Good morning Gayle. Enjoyed the video today. Always love scrappy Saturday. It is amazing the different things we make with scrapes. Have a wonderful day.
Hi Gayle! Enjoyed your relaxing video on this very hot day here. Getting a lot of paper dying done for sure. Enjoy your Saturday evening with Mr. A. 👍🌻🌻🌻🐰
This was a great Scrappy Saturday. It was nice to revisit Tim Holtz World. I have a ton of his products and paper, but haven't used them in awhile. You could say he was my (somewhat) forgotten friend. Watching you today made me realize that I should renew my acquaintance. Thanks for the reminder.
So funny! I said "to spite your face" along with you! My mom used to say that, and I never understood what she meant at the time. You always make me smile!
I haven’t heard “cut off your nose to spite your face,” since mom used to say it to me when I was kid. Lol! Love the projects, today. He is a total Roger, too.
Gayle, you always know just how to inspire me! I was looking for some pocket ideas and POOF! here you are! Keep up the silly jokes, it is just too fun when we hear them, (and when you laugh!) So glad I joined your Patreon! getting some cool ideas from there too! Blessings -- Cindy
Good morning Gayle!! Hi & hugs my friend...😁 Warms my heart to see you using the bunny quilt!! Hubby and I were going to have a date day for our anniversary, but we both woke up this morning with stomach aches. So plans are postponed. Love the neutral ephemera, gave me great ideas for a journal I'm working on. Have an awesome weekend....💜
Good morning from Modjeska Canyon, California. My piles of everything are growing and need to be used up. And my little grey cells are swirling with ideas. We’ll be turning the AC on soon. I like crafting when sweat isn’t dripping off me. As always, thank you for sharing.
Hi Gayle ... this was so fun and I actually have been working on window envelopes recently ... also saw a great video with Rachel, from Roxy Creations, where she used the entire window envelope and wrapped the other side around the paper for a pocket on the other side ... having lots of fun with these, and what a great use of old junk mail envelopes I used to just throw away! Thank you for sharing your always wonderful decorating tips ... I've learned so much from your videos - I look forward to my Gayle Agostinelli hour!
Loved these and the consideration in placement of each element. I craft with a blanket on my knee, too. It's the coldest winter we've had here in a while and I just can't seem to warm up. As desperate for autumn/fall as all heat-affected areas are, I'm equally desperate for spring. Don't you just love the seasonal changes? I do.
Hi Gayle, lots of videos to catch up with because I was visiting my mom for a week. We drove down through Glacier park and Logan Pass and I thought of you when I saw Bozeman on the map 😁
I really enjoyed watching Scrappy Saturday today as I struggle with window envelopes. You make it all look so easy! Going to dig out that stack of window envelopes and give it a try again, you gave me the confidence that I CAN do it!! Have a blessed day!
Thank you Gayle for always being an inspiration for us all! You are my muse!❤ Can you please add your paper trimmer to Gayle's favorite things so I can order it? Would greatly appreciate it!
My trimmer is so old, they don’t make it any more. I have my second trimmer on my favorite things under the Tools heading. If it’s too big, go to the search bar and type Fiskars Trimmer. The newer version of the one I pull in to use will come up. Hope that helps! ❤️
Good morning Gayle. Watching you create and a cup of tea is always a wonderful start to my morning. I have a large stack of window envelopes to use up. Take care. Hugs.
Oh geez, I have to admit. When you said cut off your nose to spite your face to the bird, I couldn't stop laughing for a while because the bird doesn't have a nose and I am laughing now. Don't ask me why it struck me so funny and still does. Kind of like your Ho Ho Ho cut off to say Ho. Ha, the humor there is in paper crafting. Anyway, I love watching you every day.
Good Morning, late start, lol I’m here to watch your great channel and ideas❤️❤️❤️ Oh my gosh I’m having a squirrel day, lol so I’m in and out of video when I think of something I need to get before I forget, 😂😂😂 Be right back, lol
Hello, Gayle! I know what you mean when you say it's cooler in the basement than upstairs and that the AC runs constantly. It is around 102 here in Salina, Ks today and the wind is blowing more than it has been lately. Last evening, I decided to go work with my new Tim Holtz dies and postal stamp stamps. My craft room is also in the basement and whenever I'd come up the steps, about halfway up I could feel the air getting warmer. It was 84 up here and I checked when I went back down, and it was 74 in the basement. My husband says our AC cannot get even around 79 and no need to try. They predict 87 and 89 Monday and Tuesday, so we will get a little break from the 100 plus temperatures a few days. I liked the ephemera you made today with the window envelopes. Well, I guess I will go down and see what I can craft!
Really great envelopes you made today. I am going to start a grungy journal as soon as I finish the bee one I am working on. Maybe it will coincide with your Tim holtz journal and we can create together ❤️. Love and hugs to you.
Good afternoon Gayle. I loved your Scrappy Saturday’s and see what you have in store fo your members and viewers too. I love it when you came to the young boy where you made him sit on the edge of th side pocket and then you named him Rodger Dodger and I had to giggle because there used to be a tech that worked at the Dialysis Center and his name was Rodger and mom and I nicknamed him Rodger Dover and he didn’t mind it too.😊 He has been gone from there fo so time now but I talk to him mom sometimes because she is a nurse next door at the Doctors office. Anyway, thanks for a fun time and hope you and your husband have a blessed Saturday. Hugs and love to you always! Sue M. (Clearwater, Florida)❤️🥰🙏🏻😊😘👼🌸🌼😎❌⭕️❌⭕️
Morning Gayle! I once had the same issue with the AC in my basement, so we covered the air vents with cardboard (especially the one that was right over my desk). Worked well! ............. I love the pocket with the bird journal card 😍
Hi Gayle. This is my first time watching you. Enjoying very much your ideas. I’ve been wanting to make a journal for a year but just don’t know where to start. My husband had two antique vehicles and I would like to do one for him.
Hi Betty! Welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you’re here! May I suggest that you start on my Tutorials playlist. I have several beginner tutorial videos there. ❤️
Hi Gayle, I see in the comments that you're receiving many suggestions on how to 'warm up' your lower level. We have the same situation in our home, so what we do is in the summer close the vents in the lower level forcing more 'cool air' upstairs, in the winter we do the opposite open the vents in the lower level and close vents in upper level that get too warm(like our bedroom). Hope this may help! Hugs!
Hi Gayle, I enjoy your videos. I have a question - What is your recommendation when using paper to cover a file folder on the outside and inside as cover so that it does not pucker when you fold it and don't end up have to add additional glue!
You could use separate pieces for the front and back, inside and out. First strengthen the spine with tyvek. Glue on your paper. Then cover the spine with fabric or lace or both. Hope that helps! ❤️
I think you can give yourself permission to toss the off cut pieces of window envelopes since you’re already recycling the envelope! You have so many supplies to use 😚
Love scrappy Saturdays gives me so many ideas for my scraps , hope you have had a nice weekend x
Thanks for another great viewing time, every time I'm tired and want relaxation your videos do the trick!
Hey Gayle! Thank you for another fun Scrappy Saturday!!

This is NOT a tutorial. 😂 It’s fun to just try things! 😁💙
Fun video to use up those envelopes.
I bought a book from 1902 today. Can I use the book pages in my journals that I'm going to sell?
