I could listen to Dr Phil forever, such a clever man, they don't come much smarter than him......top guy! ❤
It’s very difficult to come to terms with spending the time working towards a dream to then find out you no longer want that dream or it wasn’t what you thought it would be. This convo is great! It’s NEVER too late to switch it up & chase another dream. Society makes us put limits on dreams because of AGE
Society doesn't put limits, we allow those limits to be beliefs.
Dr phil is relatable because he's honest!
But he didn't mention his first wife?
But he didn't mention his first wife?
Lewis,I love how curious you always are about relationships, its such a theme in your life, its so inspiring to watch a man want to understand how to be the best version of himself. You are an incredible interviewer because you really are present and its obvious that you forget its being recorded.
Thank you so much for your feedback 🙂
I throughly enjoyed your conversation with Dr. Phil. He articulates his words very carefully . A good example for all of us. Whether he looks at you or not...no problem...have done the same thing with others myself . Because of searching for words that get through to hard added who refuse to listen. Helped my keep my focus and not be distracted by facial expressions . Thank you agson! Elaine in N.C.
Listening to the way he speaks about his wife is beautiful..and his gratefulness to Oprah..the struggles he went through. Definitely shows a different side to Dr. Phil.
I like Dr. Phil he’s a humble man
This is one of the most inspiring interviews I've listened to this year. I love the conversation on relationships and how he speaks about his wife. Thank you both 🌻
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡
I've been reevaluating and picking my life apart on my career and moving these last two weeks. This video was posted just when I needed it the most! Thanks for sharing Lewis! I can't wait to dive into it ✨
You're welcome,thank you for being here 🧡
yes, I am switching from a very successful career to a career I always wanted to do as we speak. This helps me to see that I am not " crazy".. Thanks!!
You're welcome🧡
This woke me up in the knowledge of needing to change my professional goals from sick care to healing.
Robin is amazing as well!!! Wow, didn’t know she is such a go-getter 🎉
This is the most amazing view with Dr Phil, thank you Lewis!
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡
@@lewishowes I have a new respect for him, I had no idea what he was about I even had doubts of his qualifications as Dr Phil and after your viewing I am like WOW, who knew. Lewis, you bring to us so many individuals that, for me, provide the most amazing ah-ha moments! What Dr Phil shares, especially when it comes to relationships, I can reflect my past why life went so wrong over and over again, to the point I never want to be in a relationship again because of my experiences. I will need to reflect on this, revisiting my current belief on not wanting to be in a relationship, especially in my last chapter in life.
Appreciate you and your support 🧡
Whoever reading this have a happy, healthy, wealthy, strong, powerful, confident, joyful, loving, caring, beautiful, peaceful, safe and secure life.😊
😊😊😊 Good thoughts Good life 😊😊😊
i m not writting letters but i love sending cards to my friends, when i pass a card in a store and makes me to think about a particular friend i just need to send it, even if i m in the same town of you, it s just this sense of appriciation and this small gesture ohhh i saw this it made me think of you so here it is,...
I really enjoyed every aspect of this interview thank you to you both ☺️
Amazing interview! So much wisdom. Thank you, Lewis!
You're welcome,thank you for being here 🧡
I like Dr. Phil. Great interview Lewis.
Thank you!
"You gotta dance with who brung ya" :)
I'll say this as well in mental health it is poorly run and hard to trust
What a legend! Thanks Lewis reading your book 2.2 am and mapping out a plan.
Amazing ❤ and thank you 😊
What a nice surprise this interview is ! Thank you to both of you men.
Lewis this interview was so funny…you seemed like a fidgety little kid asking the wise old grandpa questions. Really enjoyed Dr. Phil sharing his life knowledge with us.
It’s not you and your partner against each other. It’s you and your partner against the problem.
Wow, this is so Good 🔥 great work
Wow - do an autopsy on previous relationships. "What did I do to contribute to the demise of that relationship?" Own that role and heal it. Very interesting. Name calling and character assassination predict the downfall of a relationship. #1 desire acceptance, number one fear rejection. ......... When I look at the example of how to do character assassination set by our previous President demonstrated by supposedly the top role model in the US, I cringe. "Everyone is in business for themselves" How am I doing? A 'gut check moment' of when you don't do it anymore. Don't let things be a win lose situation, find a joint solution. Don't ask someone to be half of who they are to be part of a couple. Don't ask someone to be who they are not. Spend quality time together, intimacy sharing things together that you don't with others, 100% candid with each other, feeling safe doing so.Nothing to do with romance or sexuality. Having each others back no matter what in public. Acknowledge what creates pain and choose to forgive them and your self for what you've done, and find less destructive ways to express yourselves. Don't go a day without making eye contact. You get one bite at this apple, it's no dress rehearsal so don't waste time. Grab on and make the most of it. When you feel emptiness the best way to fill it is to give away what you need the most. If it's loneliness find someone that needs what you do and give to that person .... it will fill you up and heal you. Be your own best friend. We don't realize how harshly we judge ourselves. You did what you knew how to do. When you know better you will do better.
I am glad for Dr.Phill public recognition for Oprah's participation in his success by promoting him and unselfishingling placing herself in the background during the taping of her own shows.A magnificent example of a great women which is also recognized in many parts of the world for her pioneering world in
Helping women and men world wide !
Thanks!

Great woman of course👍
Why did you write all this? Strange.
@@suzanneemerson2625 It was pretty much a summary of it.Did you listen to it?
I was in a bad marriage and my x was only Happy as long as their was drama; arguing; yelling; screaming!! I was angry because I wanted the opposite as I craved peace and harmony! I admit I'd argue back pleading this relationship needs help!
Read about narcissism. They never work out. :(
This was great!! Loved this interview! 🧡
You're welcome🧡
Thanks for honoring my freedom of speech.
It should not go unnoticed that Phil (by selling nothing other than words) because a very wealthy man ... and that those who are in financial debt are not able to have a "happy" life.

One of the decisive factors in success in business, as in life, is the ability to persuade.
I had a ah ha moment because if this podcast doc. I have been afraid of being like my mother she wasnt good for me!! she was the most important person in the house.
Same here-I feel that there is something else there for me but can’t put the finger on it …….yet, but it’s coming. Good stuff!
I still thank a gal in college that helped me!!!! Yes! Never forget who helped you rise!! I have my degree no job or anything that I have my degree. Every step is important in your life and never forget to be thankful for the people that get you there and always stay humble!!!
Absolutely!
This is so damn good thank you 🔥🔥🔥
LOVE LEWIS, FROM SOUTH- AFRICA 🌍🌍🌍🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
👋
Great interview. Very interesting and the dynamic between the two of you felt very real and mature.
Thank you!
You can't ride 2 horses with one ass!! LOVE IT!! 😂
This was a really inspiring conversation. ❤️❤️
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
Once you heal you will not even be drawn to unhealed ppl
Absolutely!
I love the doctors show!!
I am with Dr. Phil on the no name calling. I don't argue with my spouse, if we can not talk at a normal tone walk away calm down and come back to the table. Too many things can be said that you can not take back when you try and talk to each other when your angry. My parents were so mad at each other most of the time. There was a lot of drinking and yelling and I refuse to raise my boys around that. Thank you for reminding me I am doing the best for myself and my relationship. I have learned a few things about myself that I have not thought about.

so proud of you Thank you.
I'm flying high after this PODCAST.
I think only a very big play can save me
We wouldn't have Bhad Bhabie without Dr. Phil
I'm out of the dating world. But, I have noticed young women have no idea how to talk to you in person. It's as if I'm not real unless I'm in their phone.
How about "Pathways"?
Challakge...might have a few offerings
Or could you recommend a facility that counsels remotely, for trana?
Does mrs. Phill counsel people

How was your dad the hardest worker ever but he was homeless
Dr Phil was homeless Not his dad. Listen again.
I’m saying if his dad was the hardest worker, how did he allow his son to be homeless.
If someone dodnt look you in the eye there's no truth
Maybe I don’t understand, I’m not sure I believe that people generate results because they think it’s what they believe about themselves...
Lewis interview Jordan Peterson.
I already have!
Patricia thinks her intellect is too far above a common man like Dr. Phil. 😂
OH no I got comfortable being alone, now what???
so far what the world has told me is not true.
Me on purpose ok doc
I think Dr. Phil gave good advice however what about a narcissistic person I heard Dr. Phil say on one of his podcasts you cannot change them no matter how hard you try so just stay away. How does this come advice come into play with them? You might be doing the best you can but they are not?
It must be hard to interview a person who does not look you in the eye while they speak... I can't imagine how you did it for 2 hours. There is NO connection between you two the way there is in your other interviews. Thanks!
I wonder why he interviews like that , I’m sure he knows given his profession , works be interesting to hear him talk about that habit.
@@skinnydee1886 I didn't watch it. Even though I love Lewis Howes, I can't really see wasting my time watching Phil.
R. P.
You've also noticed! It's NOT respectful at all when you're speaking with someone that you keep looking away MOST of the time and don't look at the individual in the eyes!
Btw, I don't ever trust anyone who doesn't look at me most of the time while speaking!
Dr. Phil of course should've known much better!
I agree. I would love to see him interview Dr. Jordan Peterson. Dr Phil has become more of an actor. JP is so human and isn't afraid to show his emotions.
Honestly, many very smart people relationally, looking away is common to gather your thoughts/feelings when you have a lifetime of experience. Alternatively, narcissists and sociopaths sometimes have unbelievable eye contact
What if your dream is really great and achievable and you want to do it. Everything says go but you are being a wuss??
Turns out Dr. Phil is quite boring.
Then skip the rest and find something else. Your choice.
Damn, Lewis ...really??? Dr. PHIL.??? IDK, I'VE lost a lot of respect for him and now I just can't even watch.
😮😮
Sorry for your judgmental, closed mind. I’m guessing you’ve never read any of his books.
Wow - never really noticed Dr Phil's sizeable ego and narcissistic behaviors before. It's a stark contrast next to Mr. Howes authentic nature. I've never noticed the Dr.'s massive ego before. 😳
Dr. Phil is authentic. Some people are fake and try to be someone they’re not. Some people just live to tear apart and criticize other people. If he bothered you so much why did you listen🤣?
I don't find him to be Narcissistic just because he knows who he is and he knows "his brand."
