I had a cebu in leca and I encountered all the problems you mentioned! Yellow leaves, the new growth was always small and it didn’t thrive in leca, I got over it so I potted it in soil and rehomed it lol
Hey Gloria, I know what you mean with the polyneura. It looks good when the leaves are fuller, wider and rounder looking. Otherwise, they tend to look quite scraggly :( I was a huge fan of jewel orchids as well last year but I haven't really paid too much attention to mine these days. I should really repot them haha!
I've had a polyneura twice and got rid of both times. It just doesn't grow nicely for me, I was always struggling with watering and lighting so I decided to give up on it. It is a beautiful plant, but we just don't get along.

yah i might have to switch back to soil. it just seems to really dislike leca i think -.-

I traded my polyneura! I’ve never liked it but was gifted it so was happy to give it someone who actually wants it.

i think jewel orchids look really nice in a terrarium but i dont have enough to fill one LOL plus scared will die on me anyway

Sorry to hear that. yah i sorta feel the same. mine always gets too much light and bleaches the leaves

ya no idea why my cebu blue always does this every so often. just goes yellow and rots in the leca
