I don't know if anyone will ever see this, but I have a theory of sorts. The bones of it are this: if you have a negative thought you always hear it as 'you're a mess' ' look at the state of you' 'nobody loves you' and so on. BUT, when you have a positive thought the thoughts don't address you directly, they just are your thoughts. Thus, positive thought comes from within and negative thought comes from outside. Once you know they come from outside you can learn to stop it coming in.

We can confirm 100% that all the lectures on this channel are authentic and in Mr. Hall's own voice. It is incredible how his words from 40 or 60 years ago are very relevant today. Timely yet timeless...

I read about how he got scammed by a spiritual healer when he was old , which makes me doubt how good his teachings really are (for example didnt watch his videos about healing yet - but if he got scammed by a fake healer than maybe i should avoid them cause they might have bad advice?) - anyone can give me some counter to this point ? maybe its not true he got scammed ? maybe that healer was real ?
You may be referring to Daniel Fritz. There are many nuances to this story, yet the one we don't hear is from Mr. Hall himself. So we will never know the truth, at least as far as he was concerned. His widow, Marie, did share her perspective: manlyphall.info/death-of-manly-p-hall.htm
@@ManlyHallSociety Thanks for reply , for record i probably will delete this comment ( i many times delete this comments) i encoutnred that before and skimmed through it now i read more of it , very sad, i reached manly thorough being into carlos castaneda , there are some bad stuff said about him as well , i can see though how it can all be false about castaneda , about manly though it still is troubling to me , i assume he gave lectures even after he met that fritz guy , so maybe some of his lectures of him in old age are not the best resources by that logic ?
i wonder if you have a theory to justify it ? like maybe manly was soo smart and powerful that he planned this as a way to not have too many followers so that only people who need to follow the teachings follow them , or that maybe he didnt want to be idolized so he went with this scam , or maybe that he took it as a challenge of some sort , maybe its some bad karma he thought he needed to go through ... etc...
the few lectures i listened do make a lot of sense and do seem to sit with my supiritual studies , though i did listen to other,s like sadughuru which used to sound impressive to me but apparently he just is a bullshiter

@@lucidwords5294 It is true that Manly Hall was concerned with being a 'cult of personality' - in that he thought the message might get lost in the admiration of the man.
In the end words of others will never beat wisdom from within, you have to trust your inner guidance instead of depending on others to save you from yourself, we can not change the outer only how we react to it. Nothing wrong with listening to people that is not my point, always seek both external and internal, but it is only within you will actually be able to gauge what is right, others can only help stimulate what is already burning within. It is up to you if you want to follow and trust it.

Follow and verify? I think he’s pretty amazing and clever, and I do not care if he followed what he taught at all. After all, he was intellectual, not a messiah or anything. I been highly impressed with every lecture I listened, and I not easily impress by anything.
Id say hes figured things out pretty good. However of course one should always maintain discernment. The occult and esoteric isnt always surface value

As much as I admire his wisdom and his answers to the mind's worry I must disagree with Manly in the sense that we shouldn't change the mind's pattern of thought rather we should have complete cessation from the mind altogether as it is the generator of the problems. We cannot cure a problem with the very thing that caused the problem.
that's like saying you should stop driving cars just because you crashed due to bad driving skills, you're supposed to be the master of your mind and use it accordingly
