Everyone in the Celtics showed up. JD looking comfortable is a great sign. Kabangele showing he deserves a solid spot in the lineup, Hauser seemed he couldn't miss a three and an oop to Kabangele to top it off. Vonleh looked promising as well. The real test is when they are down against better teams who will exploit their weaknesses. Then we can judge who really does what and we'll see how our new head coach responds to such situations. Love seeing Brogdon's pass to PP on the fast break. We finally get to see a great passer again who make those passes look so easy to find and make at the perfect timing.
It's just a preseason and no bearing game but I love that the Celtics played their core line up. Some teams don't even play their stars but Celtics played it until 3rd. Good game for both teams. My big concern continues to be the number of 3s this Celtics team is willing to shoot when the ball movement starts to break down. I think this rendition of the team is better equipped to utilize the 3 ball but I still don't like the idea that we will fall back on it.
we shot a ton of threes but there was no breakdown of ball movement. The offensive flow was so nice (especially with Brogdon) and we got endless open looks. No selfish or poor shots really
