    I'd love to see a video of everything prior to take off with explanations of what and why. Walk around preflight, taxi and preflight checklist(s), run up. I understand why you don't show that stuff every video, but having a dedicated video of that "minutiae" would be great.😃😃😃

    In case anyone is curious, the current Baron Pilot rockin' intro/outro theme is "Settle Your Regrets" by Non-State Actor, published by the music service Kris uses (Epidemic Sound). The track is streaming on SoundCloud and Spotify. It's nice to see a video where #FlyingSIC Kim's left "wing" is not in a cast! Yay!

    The cast is gone away! Yay! Kim, nice to see you handling the controls again. I got back in the air again, after some time away. Going to work on my approaches next week, and maybe some landings as well. Another great video from the cockpit of N3175W… Oh Baron…I’ve liked, I’ve shared…I’ve subscribed…. Looking forward to your next video…

    Regarding checklists n' flows... I do them when I fly on x-plane including a walkaround and control surfaces checks. (Eclipse 550ng and Challenger 300) Why? It's better than crashing!! The only problem guys when you include all of that in a video, it can take forever to upload to YT if your internet connection is meh... If you want to do a full-length walkthrough and pre-flight through startup, I'm sure there are many videos on the platform that can show it. Love the videos BP! Keep em' coming!

I’m guesssing Avidyne, and does it show any airspeed, altitude, and raw heading, or is FlyingSIC using a glance towards pilot side for that info? • @kevinkirkland8762
      @kevinkirkland8762 3 года назад +1

      @notatechie The Rad Alt is the RADar ALTimeter. It gives you the exact height above the ground directly below the plane, as opposed to the pressure altimeter which gives you your calibrated (yet still approximate) altitude above sea level. This is useful when shooting an approach in IMC when the clouds and visibility are very low.
