Thank you for your commitment! What I'm missing is Pi-Hole and unbound DNS in their own containers. With Macvlan this is possible and therefore represents a clean alternative.
Can we expect a tutorial, that would be really nice of you!

Why when I do DNS tests, does it show as if I were using my ISP's DNS? Is that right?

the solution will be to enter in Pihole Local DNS Records [A/AAAA] corresponding domain and point to your ngnx ip
