    One of the saddest parts of this story was how Terry Harper, the man who contacted authorities, was vilified - and continues to be vilified- and turning her in destroyed his life. He did and said what the authorities told him to say and do and it destroyed him. Wanda got off a lot easier than he did for doing the right thing.

      I'll be completely honest with you about something you're missing.
      Women, especially white women were not left in prison until recently. Too recently. Unless they were known for selling themselves. Then they were kept in jail as a thought of PROTECTING them.
      The idea that the punishment of jail is for everyone equally is still not true in our justice system. But early 90s? White woman? Psh.
      I'm surprised she did 6 months.
      And I'm Louisiana cajun lily white.
      With the fbi and cia busy with "terrorism" the back hollers still get away with different justice systems based on race and gender. And who know you. Who your granny knows. Anything but equal justice.
      Because they can. No one can stop them.

      I believe that Shanna Was the true victim. Neither the friend nor her mom were hurt or in danger of being hurt. They were seen as what they were, intended victims, blameless. But, Wanda's daughter would have to live under that cloud of shame and suspicion for all of the rest of her school years and beyond. I know Channelview. She will always be known as the daughter of the Pom Pom Mom. Always. For a teen to have to live and go to school under the pall of the deeds of someone else's crime is crippling, especially at that point in her life.
      Wanda was guilty. Shannon was and still is impacted. Her friend and that friend's mom are not impacted daily anywhere Near the extant that Shannon is. Wanda is guilty not only of trying to have two people killed, but she is guilty of ruining her own child's childhood and life up to the point that Shannon was finally able to come to terms with the entire drama

    So many people here are blaming this daughter ( now grown) and I think it is wrong. The daughter was under-age and I am sure many teenagers have said they want their rival dead HOWEVER a mature, grown adult parent will say that U don't really want that and to calm down, it's jsut cheerleading. The mother made her choice as a fully grown adult and it's that simple.

    • @KarMa-ws3ll
      @KarMa-ws3ll 3 дня назад +13

      of cause the daughter is not responsible regarding the "plot". She was victim of her mother as well. She is however repsonsible for still declaring that her mother was "setup" by her uncle despite the availble evidence like the audio recording. And she make said uncle plus the courtsystem responsible for not having her mom while - at least in the video - not acknowledging what ordeal the situation must have been for the other family - knowing that somebody wanted the mothe dead, while at the same time (!) plugging her services as an advocate and facilitator for healing for victims (whatever services that are precisely I dont know). The lack of insight in front of "I have the insight" plus the "I help other people heal" background ist astounding.

      She knew her mom was thinking about doing something and she even said she didn't want to tell anyone because she didn't know who to trust. That the only person she could trust was her mother which means she knew better. She didn't say anything because she too wanted something to happen to the victims. Shanna says so herself. And what about being underage? A 15 yrs old shot up her school a few days ago. Is she not guilty of murder because she's under age? This woman knew better even for her age and chose to be quiet. She knew so much so that she was afraid her mom was going to kill her too. Her own words, not anyone else's.
