Personally for me, I didn't care for Fangirl. It has it's moments, but as a Fangirl myself, I didn't feel like it was relatable. The writing is kind of off and Cath just made me angry. I loved that Simon Snow was based off of Harry Potter (huge Potterhead!) but when Harry Potter was actually mentioned in the book, it really throw me off. I just... Oi. Just really a disappointment to me, but I am glad that some people enjoyed it.
I've been thinking about reading Cinder and Fangirl already before i watched this! You've convinced me into adding several more of these books to my wish list!
I totally agree about the part you said about Anna and the French Kiss. I read a pretty depressing novel right before and it cured the hangover instantly making me love life! ❤️
I loved Divergent but I didn't feel the need to read the other two books. I started reading the second book of the trilogy, but I just couldn't get hooked into it like the first book did for me
if you just push through it, it will get soooo much better by chapter 15, I believe. I had to push through myself, and after a while I was like "aahhhhhhhhh" try again. it works :)
Insurgent was hard for me to read but by chapter 16 it got better and then I read Allegiant and it was amazing. Then I bought Four basically divergent but in his point of view

I've read almost every book from your recommendations. I totally agree with your opinions on the Divergent series, Stolen and the Vampire Academy series. I am not sure if I should give The Mortal Instruments a chance since many people have different point of views of the plot but your arguments are encouraging me to read it! By the way, I am totally in love with the plot of Stolen. I couldn't find one person who shared the same feelings for this book as I did!

Yea well I expressed my opinion how I felt I wanted to express it. Allegiant gets mindless hate for the ending when people don't take time to consider it. Not every book can end with rainbows and smiles. People die in war and that's what this book displayed, loss. So I hate when people call Veronica's books (which she dedicated a good part of her life to) "a waste of paper". Because that's truly rude and belligerent. So I'll continue to say what I want without your help ✌🏼️✌🏼

I love The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare! I have ordered the Infernal Devices series off of Amazon and am awaiting their arrival! Okay...Stolen by Lucy Christopher, I read it because it genuinely sounded like a decent read, however, I did NOT expect this. MY HEART!!! I knew that the ending was going to be sad straightaway... And I was really tempted to skip to the end and see what happens, but, I didn't. This book is so freaking amazing that I just don't know what to even do with my life anymore!!! Thank you so much Xo

hello! i just found your channel and OMG i am in love with it! i know this isnt your bookshelf tour video, but i noticed you didnt have the Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. like i said im new to your channel so i dont know if you have read the series but if you havent i HIGHLY suggest them. I will admit the first two books can tend to follow the twilight series, but it is still such a unique story. I love it, i read the whole series in about a week and if you havent read them you totally should! :)
I just subscribed so I haven't had a chance to look at too many of your other videos yet so I don't know if you are planning on reading Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff. I've read the first two books and thought the world building was fantastic and there's a mixture of Japanese mythology with a steam punk world. It's a little mature in the killing/blood aspect but worth it. Just wanted to suggest it!

I think I might have to read the Vampire Academy books. Everyone seems to love them, but I'm still a bit hesitant to dive into something that seems a bit "stereotypical YA vampire novel-y" if you know what I mean. But I think I should give them a chance. I think you would like "The Shadow Mark" by Cheyenne Reed! It's available on Amazon. it's pretty dark plot wise, but there are these moments of whimsy that bring an air of calm or normalcy to the characters chaotic lives.

i definitely agree on the divergent trilogy it is truly amazing but i prefer divergent over the other two. It is almost impossible to read the other two without reading divergent first because it jumps right into the next event instead of telling what had happened previously. Veronica Roth is most definitely a genius!!!!

I should have listened to you to read it in the order that the tmi and tid series were published. I have read some spoilers on tumblr and that long discussion and the theories that people had about brother zachariah made it seem so cool. And now i have finished clockwork princess and i know who brother zachariah already is and it made me feel like i missed on something great .
If you love everything from Cassandra Clare, you really should read The Bane Chronicles! It was really interesting and I bet you would love it. I can't wait for the series about Simon too.
I have read the beginning of Fangirl. The beginning was amazing! But as I got closer to the end, I started to lose interest. Yes, you can read any of the books without reading the others! I read Lola before reading Anna because I didn't know they were companions and it still made perfect sense. I would recommend reading Lola just because Lola, Cricket, and Calliope (characters in the book) show up in Isla and it might make a little more sense if you know who they are.
Probably that's why she didn't put ages because she knows that people below the age group will read that (PLUS SHE DIDN'T RECOMMEND FIFTY SHADES OF GRAY DO IT IS OKAY) 😂😂😂

I just subscribed so I haven't had a chance to look at too many of your other videos yet so I don't know if you are planning on reading Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff. I've read the first two books and thought the world building was fantastic and there's a mixture of Japanese mythology with a steam punk world. It's a little mature in the killing/blood aspect but worth it. Just wanted to suggest it!

I think I might have to read the Vampire Academy books. Everyone seems to love them, but I'm still a bit hesitant to dive into something that seems a bit "stereotypical YA vampire novel-y" if you know what I mean. But I think I should give them a chance.

I am currently obsessed with the Vampier Academy series. I read the first 3 books in a week.
Literally, the first two books that you mentioned are at the top of my list!
I think you would like "The Shadow Mark" by Cheyenne Reed! It's available on Amazon. it's pretty dark plot wise, but there are these moments of whimsy that bring an air of calm or normalcy to the characters chaotic lives.

Because I have seen many of your videos, you seem to love Mortal Instruments and the infernal devices, ABC Family is coming out with a show called Shadowhunters, premiering 2016. I am so excited for that series and I wanted you to know about it.

I had no idea The Fault in Our Stars was written about the girl from This Star Won't Go Out! I keep seeing it at the bookstore, picking it up and putting it back down, but now i feel like i need to read it! :)

i definitely agree on the divergent trilogy it is truly amazing but i prefer divergent over the other two. It is almost impossible to read the other two without reading divergent first because it jumps right into the next event instead of telling what had happened previously. Veronica Roth is most definitely a genius!!!!

I should have listened to you to read it in the order that the tmi and tid series were published. I have read some spoilers on tumblr and that long discussion and the theories that people had about brother zachariah made it seem so cool. And now i have finished clockwork princess and i know who brother zachariah already is and it made me feel like i missed on something great .

I have read the beginning of Fangirl. The beginning was amazing! But as I got closer to the end, I started to lose interest. I only have 100 pages left to read in it, but I just really don't feel motivated to finish it. I'm sorry! I don't know, should I pick it back up? Is the ending really worth it?
I love Divergent series, fault in our stars and Pride and prejudice. They are my personal favourites so I loved to hear the same opinion. I finished Anna and the French kiss just now and I'm so excited ^_^

Yes, you can read any of the books without reading the others! I read Lola before reading Anna because I didn't know they were companions and it still made perfect sense. I would recommend reading Lola just because Lola, Cricket, and Calliope (characters in the book) show up in Isla and it might make a little more sense if you know who they are.
