Okay, I can confirm this actually works in my *experience*, thought you don't really need to restart your device, just do the ordinary thing. Though if you own multiple accounts this will actually delete every single account you own, though if you do remember your own account, then you can actually proceed.
Though it wouldn't really work as always because this will always come back, which terribly sucks.

What I meant was, if you have multiple accounts, they WILL be gone, all it does it erase the things saved in it (Usernames only I think, every progress inside your main account is not going be erased) which kinda causes a account lost if you forgot or didn't save the password of this or that account. This doesn't affect anything sadly as there's the password manager.
