It's just a defensive mechanism of these people. When they lose the game or something they will get upset. When they get upset the only thing to make them calm down is imagine as if the person that has came out victorious against them is a cheater, then calling them names that would usually put bad reputation on that person and maybe even use swears. When they type it/say it two things will happen: either they will calm down a bit after writing it, or they will be so mad, that they will keep writing unless you react or they think you are mad. Either way, you know that because you made somebody mad in game it means that you are a better player. And them calling you a hacker/cheater means that your skills are very good. (imagine reading this whole thing)

The most frustrating part of this is being harassed because you know the mechanics of the game. Had this one kid in a shooter who called me a hacker because i shot him through the drivers window as he was driving straight at me as if i dont know how vehicles work in shooter games.
