I'm a beginner, but in a few days I'm going to get my bike, of course it's a yamaha r6, most people don't agree that my first bike should be an r6, but everything can be learned. The main thing is that you should never underestimate a motorcycle. And as a girl in this motorcycle world, I think I can handle it, You keep making videos because the videos are great. Yeah honestly you should be fine if you train in a parking lot for a couple days or like a week and go slow on the roads for a couple months. It's really all about memory. The reason some people start on r6’s is because they know how the controls work. The power is still to much even for them. But since they know how to control it they don't care. Which goes back to my point. Just get the hang of the controls and then you should be fine. Ima start on a 600 as well
@@jayyy748 Thank you very much for this comment, on the r6 you can feel the sharpness of the engine, while for example the honda 600rr, the honda is a much softer motorcycle, at least it seems so to me, for now what is difficult for me is to put it in neutral😂 And my balance is not very good , it happens that if I turn to the left, I often have to put my foot down to keep from falling..
@@R6.girl9 yeah its totally normal for the power to be to much. All I can recommend is to just go slow and work on the balance and learn how to shift and change gears. After you get down the basics and master them then that's when you could start going a bit faster.

To all the new riders, taking a motorcycle safety course will be very beneficial for you, especially if you are starting on a 600 super sport. Those bikes can match a Corvette for acceleration up to about 140 mph. So think about learning to drive a Corvette as your first car. Just my opinion for taking or leaving. Have fun and be careful. I love seeing new riders enjoying the sport. I have been riding for over 40 years and currently have a 2018 CB500F and a 2021 GSXR1000R.

I’m so glad to have come across your channel. I actually need your advice. I bought 2014 R6 yesterday and today I got to ride it for the first time. The country I live in is in South Asia and temperature today was around 40C. After riding my left knee started to burn and bth inner thighs. When I got home and took off my jeans, I was shocked to see that my thighs were burnt and so was my left knee. After a few minutes it had blisters on it. I went to the pharmacist to get coke cream and applied ice on it too. After two hours I went to check on my bike and after touching the fuel tank I was shocked that it was still burning. I see people riding and having fun but I was in so much pain. This was my first day on an R6. Any advice that what should I do in order to prevent from burning. Thanks
Is the Yamaha R6 heavy enough for the traffic light can register there is a motor vehicle present? Thank you! Btw! Excellent video. I would work on better microphones, it was kind of difficult to hear the motorists with the pink helmet.

How Tall is the girl? Edit: I'm asking this because the R6 has a seat height of 32.9 inches. Its a good way to judge (if someone was looking for an R6) how they would fit on the bike especially @1:25 mark.

the r7 is very slow probably the WORST bike yamaha has made.
the r7 is a more of a city bike which is perfect for where i live. i LOVED the r6 but i don’t need that kind of power yet as a daily :) soon though
