Saw Megadeth in 98 at ozzfest. It was my first real concert. Slayer played, then Megadeth, then Tool. I'll never forget Megadeth and Tools sets. Fuckin blew my 14 year old mind.
Seen them over 10 times live. All after 2000. Saw them perform Rust in Peace (at the Palladium in Hollywood with Testament) and Countdown to Extinction albums in their entirety
Saw them 4 times when I was in high school. Gigantour 06, then again the next year in 07, Endgame tour in 09 where I also got to meet Dave Mustaine, and the Rust in Peace 20th anniversary tour early 2010. Hope to catch them at least one more time before they retire. Every show was worth it.
Not only did I see Megadeth four times I smoked joint and drank beer with Dave and his hotel room, in Quebec city. At the Delta which I also was staying at, him and Chris Broderick we're eating and then afterward they came over, Dave met everybody but asked me and my brother specifically if we had any marijuana. We did now but the star is aligned and within 2 minutes of running outside we seen a French man smoking pot. I gave him $20 and he probably gave me four grams. I then ran back to the hotel where Dave still was told him I had weed and then he invited us up to his hotel room to drink and smoke weed. Just me, my brother, my friend and Dave. If anybody would like to see the picture you can inbox me
And he gave us backstage passes to the show the following night. It was gigantor 2008. Job for a cowboy, in flames, high on fire, children of bodom and Megadeth
I saw them at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood . It was a small crowd and Marty's second to last show in 1999. one week later I saw Black Sabbath at Forum with Pantera opening. Not a bad week.
I was vip in the sick viewing area of the show for the first 3 songs. Kiko was literally soloing for me a couple times. Stood in front. Had my hands on my head thinking holy shit. Amazing show. 10/10
They played in my town like a year ago and I had no idea. I was so upset. But the worst thing is the venue is about 2 miles away from my house, White River Amphitheater.
Saw them last year in Green Bay, WI Awesome show! There isn’t many dudes in there 60’s like Dave is that are still out there getting it done with such precision.
I'm from the U.S. of America. Megadeth still plays hard. I saw them in Idabel Falls, Idaho. He opened up saying, " It's great to be back home." That stood out to me. I found out Dave lived in Idaho for a brief time. I saw them in concert. I got a towel from them. I gave it to my Ladyfriend, who was at the concert too. She became my wife and the Mother of my Son.
I saw them in Ottawa on this tour. The show did not sell very well and so we only got 13 songs. No Mechanix. I saw that they played In My Darkest Hour in Quebec City. Wish I had seen that.
I saw them at my first concert ever in Hollywood on the rust in peace tour w Alice In Chains at the palladium. I was extremely spoiled right out the gates as far as live acts go. It’s impossible to follow that show with anything better. I’ve seen a few hundred shows in total probably and they all have been great and some not but that was the best show I’ve ever seen.
Good commentary, bro! I've seen Megadeth 3 times. The first time was in Amarillo, Texas, during the Cryptic Writings tour, so I got to see rhem with Marty and Nick. That was an awesome show. They opened with Trust. Also, I saw them 2 times in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with Kiko and Dirk. All great shows!
I saw this tour with bullet. It was awsome... Dave sounded great. I worked the show spent 18 hours with the band and crew. Dave ate dinner and supper with the crew .. was the best day
Saw them once. I managed to get in all of the Big 4 in roughly two years, with my sons. Of the four, they were the most like a guitar clinic. The interplay with Kiko and Dave was amazing.
I've gone to see megadeth 3 times, and yet I've still never seen them live... but I did manage to meet Dave and get him to sign my guitar/ his book and a poster for me.
I saw em for the first time in April and they were powerful. I managed to hold my spot right up front on the railing in front of mustaine the entire time. It was legendary.
I've seen Megadeth twice. First time w/ Sanctuary and Warlock as openers on June 5th, 1988 @ The Aragon Brawlroom, Chicago . The second time was August 8th, 1997 w/ New Order and The Misfits as openers @ again, The Aragon Brawlroom, Chicago. Both were killer shows. \m/
First time I saw Megadeth was on their Cryptic Writings tour with the classic lineup, Misfits open up for them, at the time I only had and knew their American Psycho album, In later years got into their Danzig stuff, Megadeth killed it that night.
I saw them that same tour about a month ago. They had Oni as one of the openers and the energy there was great. I get what you mean with bullet for my valentine, they mostly just stand still and kinda bang their heads. But megadeth was a good show, more because they had more visuals and kiko can headbang and play guitar so clean live like nobody can. But what mostly makes up the show is the nostalgia and ability to sing and headbang along to their songs. Would recommend 🤘
10/10 for respect and another 10/10 because they're way better than any of us in this comment section. We can only dream. Megadeth made theirs come true.
I saw Megadeth live on the night Aerosmith fired them for calling the audience lazy and sitting on a Monday night at 7:30 on a hot Houston night. It was a good show but Dave never did have a real job so he wouldn't know that people that work are gonna be chill on a Monday night at 7:30.
I saw Megadeth on their "Peace Sells" tour in 1986. At the Country Club in Reseda CA. Jason Newsted's band before he joined Metallica "Flotsam and Jetsam". I have been a fan ever since. I was 17 at the time.
I saw Megadeth at The Capitol Theater in Port Chester NY back in '94. It was crazy! Everyone was having a blast. I got knocked around in the pit a few times.
Saw them last year in Window Rock and to say the crowd definitely made the show more better as well as the pit. Even the sound of the place made it worth driving 3 an half hours to attend
I got to see them twice at the Phx fair in az and totally kicked ass! This band is a must see for sure if your s metal fan. Thats coming from a Slayer, Metallica, Ironmaiden, Megadeth fan.

Saw Megadeth in 98 at ozzfest. It was my first real concert. Slayer played, then Megadeth, then Tool. I'll never forget Megadeth and Tools sets. Fuckin blew my 14 year old mind.
I saw Megadeth in a small club, they still had Marty Freedman. They were amazing. I would like to see them again with the new band line up. Thx
Was it in ny?
Winston Salem, NC place called Ziggies.
Oh so lucky, I would've done anything to see Megadeth live, especially the best lineup with Friedman.
Seen them over 10 times live. All after 2000. Saw them perform Rust in Peace (at the Palladium in Hollywood with Testament) and Countdown to Extinction albums in their entirety
I would've done anything to see Megadeth live, especially in the 90s
Was at that concert. Fantastic set. 10/10 performance and the energy from the crowd was unreal
Every shot of the crowd looks like nobody's into it. No energy from what I see. Give me a 1994 Pantera show instead.

Fuuuuck dude. That's a concert I wanna see right there.
Saw them last night, unbelievable
@Clint Fullarton Awesome! 👍
I saw them in edmonton in 2009 with Slayer. Amazing show.
My biggest issue with Megadeth live is they play the same 10 songs every show and just switch 2-4 depending on the newest album
Yeah this is fucked up
I saw them at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood . It was a small crowd and Marty's second to last show in 1999. one week later I saw Black Sabbath at Forum with Pantera opening. Not a bad week.
Saw em 10 yrs ago. It was so loud i couldn't recognize what was being played...25mins and I walked out. Sad!
Id give Megadeth a 4/10 for stage presence, 8/10 for technicality. So 6/10 overall.
When i saw them, it felt like they didnt want to be there
I'm 12 and i will see them this year in czech republic. I love them
seen them in Saskatoon saskatchewan. wicked show.
@deez z Nice! 🤘🏽
Same, they killed it
I was there myself it was an incredible show!

Saw them in Concord, California in 2021 with Lamb of God. Fuckin amazing show
Seen them about 30 years ago, Corrosion of Conformity opened.
Then about 15 years ago, they were opening for Priest.
Definitely need to see them!
Seen the band many times. Always love(d) them and could not wait to see them soon again.

Went to see them on The Metal Tour of the Year and they were awesome. Still killing it.
I actually saw Dave after he had rehabilitated his arm 2004 or 2005. Absolutely killer!
Saw them in Edmonton, it was great
I saw them in Montreal this year, never again. Set list was short, no encore, and they weren't tight like past members.
I saw this tour with bullet. It was awsome... Dave sounded great. I worked the show spent 18 hours with the band and crew. Dave ate dinner and supper with the crew .. was the best day
Saw Megadeth. The sound waves ripped my face off which stuck to a pillar, then Dave started throwing darts at it. Pretty cool

I have been going to Megadeth shows since the mid-80s they are always one of the best shows of the year
I would love almost nothing more than to see them play even one song
I saw them in 2007, heaven and hell opened and that show was 10.5
I've seen Megadeth twice. \m/

Saw Megadeth in a night club on the Peace Sells tour in 1986.
Saw them open for Judas Priest in Zurich Switzerland 2018. Great show.
I wanna see them perform one day
I saw Megadeth when I was a teenager in 1988 touring with Savatage and Dio.
@Wendy S. I just read something about this show this morning! I got to see Savatage as well but on their own.
Saw them when Menza, Marty and Dave was in the line up. I don't feel like I'm missing anything in 2023
I saw them in Knoxville probably 10 years ago and they were amazing!

Would love to see them but with an epic tour lineup they had before with Lamb of god,Trivium and In Flames
I saw them live in Tampa on June 24th
I saw the boys open for heaven and hell at a 7000 cap theater in PHX aZ 2009 or 08 it was killer, wake up dead rocked

Ive seen megadeth twice in the past two years, they always kill it
I saw Megadeth on their "Peace Sells" tour in 1986. At the Country Club in Reseda CA. Jason Newsted's band before he joined Metallica "Flotsam and Jetsam". I have been a fan ever since. I was 17 at the time.

I saw them on their Crush the World Tour 2023 in Kalowna BC
I saw them live in Denver 2004!
When MegaDave comes to town I dont miss it. Cant blame the old man for slowing down, his voice isnt the same but he's still got the hands 💪
For some reason Dave doesn't mind doing the small shows
I saw Megadeth at The Capitol Theater in Port Chester NY back in '94. It was crazy! Everyone was having a blast. I got knocked around in the pit a few times.
@Mike The Goon Everyone remembers their 1st time the pit lol 🤣
I saw them twice in one year and one vip 🤘🤘
I am still rocking at 73. And if you could get Megadeth for me, I’d be happy to go and see…Boulder, Colorado.

I saw Megadeth 15 years ago and the sound of their live performance was the best I ever heard, they sounded like studio quality
