BF3 is my favorite BF game by a large margin, and if I had to pick between only playing BF3 or Cold War for the rest of time, I'd pick BF3 in a heartbeat. That said, in my humble opinion, you're utterly insane if you think that the reloads in BF3 are better than those in Cold War. As far as visuals go, BF3 was definitely ahead of its time and still holds up fairly well today on the right hardware, but Cold War's visuals are just... better. They're crispier, they're better for gameplay, and in the case of reloads specifically -- convey a sense of urgency and proficiency that's just not there in the BF3 reloads. And that's not a knock on BF3 at all -- it was release nearly a decade before Cold War was, so of course it's at a disadvantage where visuals are concerned. Cold War benefits from better hardware than was available for BF3, and can draw on the experience of the industry in the time between the two releases. I swear, some of you lot are so desperate to bash Cold War that you're saying things that are just plain stupid. Not saying you can't bash Cold War (we all know it's definitely got its problems), but ffs at least make criticisms that make sense.
Hey, i remember you... You're that guy who always disses CoD. Judging from your name, you must be a BF fanboy. I love both CoD and BF but i really dislike people like you.
Black Ops Cold War does look better. but keep in mind that BF3 is a much older game that also can run on much lower end hardware to achieve the graphical fidelity.
BF3 had some robotic animations but they know how to use a gun and reload. As for Cod BOCW, basically a human animations holding a toy gun cuz there handling feels it lacks of weight compare to MW2019, also there reloads are half correct.
It seems CoD sounds have devolved. MW seemed to do a great job. Now the sounds reflect MW3. What happened? And for the love of god… STOP SLAPPING REVOLVERS! REEEEEE!!
BF3 audio still captures the "crack" of rifle fire and the sound it makes traveling down range. COD games just can't replicate that. - there's is mostly "boomy" thuds.
CoD would probably be able to replicate that kind of sound design if they didnt keep going bipolar every 1 in 2 years. Look at COD:MW2019 and look at BOCW and the upcoming atrocity Vanguard. You can definitely tell that MW2019 has been worked on for a while and is just no doubt better than the newer games they're trying to shit out in a hurry.
This is sad because I’ve shot a gun before and they definitely don’t sound so weak and pathetic. I bought Cold War for almost $100 for a game to blow shit up and shoot a Barrett 50 cal at peoples heads not to make my gun into a gay painting or make it so quiet that it’s not even considered a firearm any more. Well that’s what I think but apparently most of their money is from people buying their stupid skins for guns and characters . This is not fortnite. I just wish that they would work on the sounds of the guns and especially the M60 because it sounds like popcorn not a gun and it’s supposed to be a LMG. I miss gaming being for fun. #dontturneverythingintofortnite
I can't for the life of me understand why I find BF3&4 animations so abhorrent...they hit something in my brain like am watching professionally made animations mixed with early 2000s movie action like animations with a pinch of an edgy indie gun game. I really don't know why. As for Cold War, well it was simply a downgrade compared to MW in every way.
Cod is very misleading about that history of Vietnam. Most commonly seen in cod black ops 1 and 2, cold war. And I'm Vietnamese, so I don't want to shoot the Vietnamese people with a gun. Actually, Vietnam won, but activisions wrote that the US won.
i played BOCW, its a pretty good game with a interesting storyline. you just need to imagine that the vietnamese soldiers are chinese in disguise or something
Reloading animations in cod games were always unnaturally fast and looked artificial to me, and it was main turn off for me in those games. Imagine reloading M249, but it takes you 1 second. Yeah that's cod right there.
COD goes for a fast paced arcade gameplay, thats why the reloads are fast, to keep the action one example I can give you is Escape From Tarkov, in that game, the action is low and goes for a more tatical realistic shooter, wich means the reloads are also realistic and they are slow for you to reload only when needed and to keep the hits counting basicly, in COD you kill one and reload, in EFT you kill one you reload when you know your safe and your out of bullets (you also would switch weapons more)
I don't say the same for MW19, the character there seems to feel the weight of each weapon, different from the CW. Do not cover the entire franchise in general
I love CoD. But it’s current state just doesn’t compete like it did before.

you're utterly insane if you think that the reloads in BF3 are better than those in Cold War.
BF3 be like
You dare challenge me mortal
Is it just me or in battlefield most of the guns sounds the same?
Same calibre, same sound. Unlike what games portray.
i mean, yes
@@m0dn_ some of them sound marginally different, it's not noticeable if yoy haven't played much of the game tho :/
@@onlyrushb6428 im a big fan of the sound and animation design of DICE, especially when they make their guns as realistic as possible.
Battlefield 3 Wins!!!!!!
And COD BOCW lost badly.
@Cpt exe dude, even airsoft guns sounded better than cod cold war guns
Hey, i remember you... You're that guy who always disses CoD. Judging from your name, you must be a BF fanboy. I love both CoD and BF but i really dislike people like you.
@@Ajay-dy3xw I am sorry for commenting like this. I won't behave like this from now
@@AshfaqurBF hmm
@Heavy Gaming The F1 guy changed his name to "Just a Peugeot 206"
Good old Operation Metro days...
Why are you using Old version Of cold war....
because nobody wants to make themselves play that godforsaken game to get new footage
To those wondering why the spas on Cold War doesn’t pump every time, read this. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franchi_SPAS-12
i like how a 10 year old game looks better than one from 2020
Black Ops Cold War does look better. but keep in mind that BF3 is a much older game that also can run on much lower end hardware to achieve the graphical fidelity.
You know your game is trash when it gets compared to another game which is a decade behind
BF3 had some robotic animations but they know how to use a gun and reload. As for Cod BOCW, basically a human animations holding a toy gun cuz there handling feels it lacks of weight compare to MW2019, also there reloads are half correct.
Bo2 VS Bocw
That battlefield spas reload did not age well. My mans is just jamming his thumb up in the whole.
It seems CoD sounds have devolved. MW seemed to do a great job. Now the sounds reflect MW3. What happened?
And for the love of god…
STOP SLAPPING REVOLVERS! REEEEEE!!
BF3 is the best and cold war is also good
BF3 audio still captures the "crack" of rifle fire and the sound it makes traveling down range.
Wait what, why bf 3?
Bf3 is so good !
Offscreen magnum reload... Come on
This is like comparing trash to gold
Awesome
BF >>
BOCW vs BF 3
So.. you comparing one of the worst Cod vs one of the best BF
Gun sounds are so much worse in cw compared to bf3, they sound muted and unimpactful
Mfw when a 2011 game is better than a 2020 made game
Every battlefield>every cod except mw2019
Nice
In my opinion Cold Wars have better animation but Battlefield just feel smoother and less clumsy
Bf3 looks better even if it is a decade older.
And the winner is...battlefield 3
May I remind people cod is a arcade shooter?
Atari cod
Bf3 has better sounds but everything else is cold war. That's just natural evolution of games.
Aaaaannnnd CW loses yet again, no surprises there
The best game ever
#dontturneverythingintofortnite
the m16 in CW is a neutered piece of shit
Call of duty is the best
Battlefield 3 >>>>> Cold War
Cold war is the clear and obvious loser here
i think cod overdid it a bit by making every gun sound like an anti tank cannon lmao
Probably the wrists, and the fingers. They aged pretty badly
BF reloads are either as simple as possible or robotic, so i can see where you're coming from.
Cod is very misleading about that history of Vietnam. Most commonly seen in cod black ops 1 and 2, cold war. And I'm Vietnamese, so I don't want to shoot the Vietnamese people with a gun. Actually, Vietnam won, but activisions wrote that the US won.
i played BOCW, its a pretty good game with a interesting storyline. you just need to imagine that the vietnamese soldiers are chinese in disguise or something
imagine copying and pasting the top comment
Reloading animations in cod games were always unnaturally fast and looked artificial to me, and it was main turn off for me in those games. Imagine reloading M249, but it takes you 1 second. Yeah that's cod right there.
COD goes for a fast paced arcade gameplay, thats why the reloads are fast, to keep the action
one example I can give you is Escape From Tarkov, in that game, the action is low and goes for a more tatical realistic shooter, wich means the reloads are also realistic and they are slow for you to reload only when needed and to keep the hits counting
basicly, in COD you kill one and reload, in EFT you kill one you reload when you know your safe and your out of bullets (you also would switch weapons more)
I don't say the same for MW19, the character there seems to feel the weight of each weapon, different from the CW. Do not cover the entire franchise in general
BF3 sounds are good, but all the weapons sounds same.
Cold war is shit
For its realism? Yes. But for the gameplay? Def not.
