Thank you Ivan, Suzie, and John. You've allowed is to feel a part of your passion and your fun, something missing lately in the USA. I love your projects, and the ways you three work together, the way friends do when they've been around each other for a long while. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this, and the very best to you all for the year(s) to come.
Living the dream. How I envy you , Ivan! And thanks for all you do, Suzy. Not to forget the stalwart : John. Can't wait to see what Shed Racing gets up to in 2025!
Thank you so much Ivan Suzy and John for giving us all those wonderful hours of entertainment education and laughter roll on 2025 and all the best for the new year.
Thanks for making me laugh with your youtubes and get schooled on proper vintage race car mechanics and operation. I look forward to another great year with you two and have good luck in the new year.
Happy, (and busy), New Year, Suzie, Ivan and John, hope you all have great'un and get to do a drive in all those lovely old cars. Thank you Shed Racing for the hours of entertainment.
You two have a great deal to be proud of. What you have done is wonderful and generous. The stills are terrific. Many thanks and high regards. Happy New Year!
Loved the year with Shed Racing Suzie Ivan and John so many laughs so many new ideas incorporated in the cars never a dull moment Happy new year where are we going next please ?.
I'm not British but I did work in international motorsport many years ago. I love watching Shed Racing, Ivan and John are a rich vein in the heritage of British motorsport and very well done to Suzie for documenting everything so well. Love the banter too, so much more fun than anything on TV. Wishing you all the best for 2025 and beyond.
Thank you Ivan, love all the video's I've told so many people you must watch Ivan Dutton in 'She'd Racing' hope you can do it all again next year. Regards to Susie and John.
Great videos Suzie great job thanks to Ivan and John for the content been a very entertaining year.. Wishing you all a very happy New Year and best wishes for 2025 Robb Torremolinos Spain
Greetings Ivan, Suzie and John Wishing you all the very best for the New year. Thankyou so much for taking the time to make the enjoyable and informative videos, it's great to be part of your journey. Safe travels Regards Greg B
Happy New Year Ivan and Suzy. New years wish is better roads for all and especially for vintage car owners so the great heritage will not just rattle into destruction. Britain’s ‘pothole plague’ took even more of a toll on drivers in 2023 as RAC patrols attended nearly 30,000 pothole-related breakdowns over the course of the year, up by 33% compared to 2022. The UK is thought to have more than one million potholes, with these road defects being one of the leading causes of car breakdowns. Currently, the Government has a pot of £5 billion to tackle the problem up until 2025.
Thanks for taking us all along this year. I am up in Alaska (where prewar cars are thin on the ground). Its fun to have you playing on the shop TV while I am working on my old cars, especially in the winter when I can't take them out to drive.
What a wonderful year end review. Thank you all at The Shed and beyond for recording all of the work and trips. Happy New Year to the Shed family, and the fans everywhere. Cheers!
I’m so pleased that I found your channel early this year and amazed that I have watched you in VSCC Events since 1983 but never knew you other than when racing. Your films are so pleasing to watch…a tribute to Sally and a wonderful insight to John with his engineering hands and to you Ivan, for such honest and fascinating mechanical adventures. Good luck for 2025😃😃😃😃😊
A Healthy and Happy New Year to the three of you and your families. I am so looking forward to seeing you next year with my lovely Shed Racing mug with hot tea. Cheers!
This is a great YT channel, great entertainment, just love Ivan , John the quiet guy in the background and Suzie with the glamour and great camera work, smashing, hope you all had a good year and hope 2025 is going to be more of the same, thankyou again from Old Tel in Scotland 👴🏻👍
Thanks for all these videos. Your passion inspires me on cold days when I am reluctant to go in the garage. I love your example of doing it with your hands. When I was young and working on my car I would say “we need a special tool” and my Dad would say “you’ve got fingers and eyes haven’t you?”. As a side note, the black badge thing is a myth. Jim clark died in 68 and my 69 plus 2 and 70 Elan both had green and yellow badges. The black badge came about because Lotus were always looking to save money and black was cheaper. Long live King Ivan
You three are so very special. You make a huge difference to people's lives. Thanks for a brilliant 2024 and looking forward to 2025. Thanks so much from here in Australia. And don't forget to subscribe, press the like button and make sure you get your 5 a day.
Happy New Year to all at Shed Racing! Thanks for a great 2024 at the Shed and I am sincerely looking forward to another year of neat projects and terrific banter! Cheers, Paul 🤓
It has been a pleasure to subscribe to your channel, Ivan . Glad you like the 308 , sounds well, although funny sound of rubbing on steering - might be something else camera related etc, still , all great stuff, regards to you all for 2025.
Fantastic round up of your year, lovely cars and Suzie is a diamond. Ivan if you need someone to exercise the lotus I'll come back from Oz next year!! Max.🤗
Thank you for sharing your happiness with us on RUclips. Please don't go up on the Shed Roof into 2025. That was not nice to watch! Happy New Year to Suzy, John and Ivan! Best wishes from George
Great to see an old Ferrari being used properly on nasty wet winter B roads and doesn’t it sound lovely?! Have really enjoyed your films this year and look forward to more next year. Fav video of the year was the old prod saloon season review - in the little Nova sport (SR).
11:05 Those Capri rectangular headlights were worth a bit to replace. In '89 I brought back quite a few 4 headlight conversions from USA. Sold like hot cakes. Happy New Year from New Zealand.
Hi Ivan. Saw that you almost accidentally shifted into reverse while driving the 308. There is a mechanical lockout for reverse requiring that you push down on the shift lever to engage it. Apparently the lockout is not working in your car. Fairly easy fix. Remove the shifter gate and you’ll see how it works. Happy New Year.
Hmmm. I was looking at Ivan sitting in his chair and noticed what I thought was the front corner of an FE Vauxhall. Then it dawned on me, Gerry Marshall!
Being a pattern maker, how about building a car inspired by a pre 1924 racing car. Cast the engine block use a 3-4 speed transmission, possibly use Ford axels a two cylinder boxer engine would be cool, a 4.75"-5.75"or 6"bore with 4 " stroke, cast the heads using big block Chevrolet or Chrysler valves, cast the pistons , use two cams with pushrods mount a pair of modern motorcycle carburetors in the center of the engine. With the carbs being around 45 mm. The engine capable of around 5000 rpm, the modern difference it being a modern take on early cars. Basically 2-3 times the speed of the old engines. User modern piston rings. About 1,1,2.5 mm ring pack. Use a starter and alternator running from the flywheel keeps it out of sight. Use brass era light replicas with LED bulbs. 12v 30 amps alternator basically 10 amps power all lights at once. It would be a awesome video series. The body could be fiberglass. Make a mold from tig welding rod and wire mesh and fiberglass reinforced body filler. Layer it until it's about 1.5" thick. Sand it smooth and into shape. Paint it with a epoxy or high gloss paint and coat in wax and mold release. Then lay fiberglass over it. Get some replica bomber seats. Or make them from 3-4mm aluminum. It should make at least 80-100 HP possibly more and should weigh 1000 lbs more less maybe 1200-1400 , it should definitely not weigh 1500-1600 with driver and passenger. Maybe build it from carbon fiber. Call it a new 190? Dehs`recar "Shed racer" happy🎉Happy New Yesr🎉
Many thanks to Suzie,Ivan and John for a wonderful year of entertainment and hope we have many more to come.
Thank you Ivan, Suzie, and John. You've allowed is to feel a part of your passion and your fun, something missing lately in the USA.
