Wow, such a cool place, thanks!
Lovely I have cycled lots of Scotland but never the west highland peninsulas looking to plan something for April definitely bring my gravel bike
Hello, I Follow you France and I really like your videos that show your so nice country. Viva Scotland 👍 We week there in 1992 for our honeymoon 🙂
From Provence in France
Hi Eric - I'm pleased you have happy memories of Scotland. I've ridden a lot in your marvellous country, my favourite place to ride. My friend lives in the Dordogne and, this time last year, I was riding with him in rain - no French cyclists in sight. ruclips.net/video/gfkBGlwsVrY/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/UzXz9YgnOGE/видео.html
@@alwaysanotheradventure Simon, for a couple of years, Dordogne is a part of England😉 There are almost more english people than froggies 😜 and the weather is like in UK...
You have to come in Upper Provence. We have very nice small roads and gravel roads too.
@@eric.D2123 That is SO TRUE! My friend doesn't really speak French but gets along just fine and runs a business too. We've done the obvious Provence rides around Ventoux but we've also ridden around Verdon and towards the Alpes Maratimes. It is lovely there, despite the Peter Mayle effect.
Beautiful route. Professional video editing. And "documentary" style voice. You deserve much more subscribers and views. Keep it up. Cheers from HK.
Thanks very much, it’s appreciated. “Tell your friends” as they used to say 😁
Yep never rains in Scotland, but it never stops cyclists enjoying the varied and beautiful views afforded by cycling this route. I'm lovin these videos so much and am filling up my diary for next year. Keep up the good work, smashin informative and gets you thinking about expanding your cycling frontiers
Ah I have one in the can you will love (Gravel to Fort William) and another planned to shoot soon on Mull. You're gonna need a bigger diary...😃

Went up to Ardnamurchan Point and then Sanna Sands when I was kid with my parents. It was beautiful, but the midges were the size of small birds and trillions of them. It was carnage like a Hitchcock movie. Never again.
It varies depending on the wind, temperature and light. Oh, and when you're on a bike you can usually out-run them. Staying still is when it gets bad. The Seatpost review you looked at that I shot on that picnic table near Polloch was hellish because I was in one place longer than 10 mins. I've just walked the same area with our dog, kept moving, and was fine in shorts.
Yes it’s beautiful down there, my husband used to ride his trials bike down there when he was younger, he said the people were always so friendly.
It's a lovely spot Emma. I used to run down here too but my knees can't manage long distance runs now!
Beautiful ❤️❤️
What a stunning route.
It was worth the effort. If you're up this way and want to try it - www.komoot.com/tour/75770221?ref=wtd
I've been on that beach a few years ago in my teens. Beautiful area and I hope to visit again. I saw the most stunning sunsets there.
It’s quite a spot! Love walking the dog here.
Makes me want to go to Scotland! Love the scenery (and the bike).
Thanks Martin - I’m lucky to live here. Although the weather’s not great right now!
Awesome vid.. amazing views.. wow :)
I'm pleased you like it Pete. This is a great area to call home.
Surprised by the quality of your content, keep the good work, you will go a long way.
Hi Derek - glad you like it. All those years working for the BBC not wasted then...😀
Looks lovely, did you map it o Strava?
Hi Chris - I find it easier to share mapping on Komoot and there's usually a link to a route in the video description. However, I've also hunted out my Strava track for you. Hope this works: www.strava.com/activities/2487475885
