I really thought with the creams that maybe the leaf was bad material or something and that was causing the scratch, since the CJ's for example are pom on pom but are the smoothest stock switches I've tried.

FL Esport is now more reconized as a killer custom keyboard in SEA. Their keyboard kits like the MK870, the MK750 are total bang for your buck with shit tons of silicone case dampener, great stabilizers and affordable keycap which use the same mold as Akko's ASA keycap, but the PBT is thicker, more condensed, less stem miss-shot and even cheaper. They have 3 main line of product: CMK is the high end, high price prebuilt line with hot swap ability and one of the best plastic case. Almost mod unneeded. FL is the mid tier prebuilt with a mid tier price and signature L-shape case. CMMK is the custom line which comes as kit, stabilizer, switch and keycap.
I’ve heard that gamer keyboards use north facing LEDs because it provides a more even lighting on the legend, which is usually centered in the middle of the upper section of the keycap. Also, nice review! I really enjoyed it.

I’ll be reviewing the honeycombs next week but I showed them on stream last night!! They all sound different but honeycombs are reeeeallly nice !!! However they are a bit heavy for my taste, I love the weight of the ice mints :)

@@MakerMods I think how you set it up was good enough already, it's just the colors. maybe add an opaque white box over the video in the background and keep the text as it is? That way, it'll whiten up the background to let the text stand out a little more!
The Ice Mint switches also comes in the kailh box form. It's basically a box cream recolor and is only available on their CMK87 prebuilt. People wants to try new switches so they ended up selling them for like 30 cents per switch which is half the price or kailh cream or box creams. From what I've heard they are quite good when broken in and lubed, just like any pom switch by kailh.

@@MakerMods They are both full POM switches, but the ones in the CMK87 is in the Kailh Box form. You can check out the images from the reviews. Also the normal ice mints is pretty hard to get my hands on here in Vietnam, and your's the only review I've seen!

I commented earlier with Taobao links to a couple of other all-POM linears--Leobog Agiles and Mengmoda/MMD Ice Creams--but it looks like the inclusion of those links made my comment resemble spam, resulting in the expungement of the comment. Just came here to say that your review was great, as always, and that the Leobog and MMD switches are considerably smoother than Novelkeys Creams.
Budget boards (and most boards) use north facing leds because that's where the shine through legends are on most keycaps. Only enthusiast (and not even all of them) care about Cherry profile keycaps.

Totally agree! I haven’t tried all the newer iterations of the cream, but these have me plenty satisfied!
