You are wrong in that line where you told limbu's couldn't resist gorkhas! Limbuwan was the only kingdom which gorkha empire couldn't won. All total 17 battle's were fought and all those 17battles were won by the limbuwani force. One of the interesting documentaries its like one of the old tv doc shows factual, informative and real research. The limbu people are exonym group their history and origins are still not fully understood their origins are also mentioned how they lived in himalayan region’s history which is older than rig vedas or puranas or the kiratas kirats means the victorious ones its origin is said they got this title after defeating the dravidian invaders in the northern india .i did not know lepchas and limbu shared close ties because in lepcha cultures lepcha language and people are directly descandant from gods and they share amazing history one of most sophisticated history in asia.i have heard an folk story and documentary about how limbu or kirat people came to be its said in ancient time thousands of years ago must be 2000 or more maybe older so in inner mongolia(ancient history of china)when south china was still south tibetan kings place and Inner Mongolia was big china . There was poor ethnics indigenious tribes there they were peaceful loving people(kirats or the limbus)they inter mingled with tibetians then later tibet was attacked by mongols, mongols won war against them they werent as brutal but tibetian somehow still hold grudges against them still today. now the next part it is said that in ancient kiratdesh was underattacked again this time by other groups gurkhas(aka hindu bahuns )and to save the people of kirat and blood kins in kiratdesh the mongols wanted to help and they sent out brave people and those were (kirats or limbus) limbus group are mixed of sino tibetians and mixed bhote ,bhutia which are known as sherpas. Limbu has historical ties with ancestors worshipping they are share similarities related to lechas, mongolians. Siberians also worships ancestors but limbus dont share anything close anything than some strikingly similarities with sakha people culture. I think limbu people came to be because they are thankful to their ancestors wisdom and they worship niwa or nuwa an ancient real life religious leader which is belived to hold super powers and earth godess and she could either be from Mongolia or russia , south russia used to be borders vessels with mongolia and shared brotherhood kinship
And now Limbus,Lepchas,Bhutiyas are losing their glorious identity, their language and culture to the Gorkha identity. It's heartbreaking 💔 It's not Gorkhaland, it's Lepchaland.
Please don't call yourself Gorkhas/Nepalis, if you don't want to... nobody forces yourself to identify as one! I'm from the Rai community and we also have our own tribal language just like countless other Gorkha communities yet we are proud of our Gorkha heritage and this is what binds us together as one. Sikkim is Sikkim but Darjeeling/Kalimpong/Kurseong is Gorkhaland. We've always supported Sikkim but Sikkim doesn't support the people of Darjeeling and Nepal and always throwing dirt on everyone except themselves
Where did lepchas came from option - tibet, Myanmar, japan, thailand.mongolia and china. Because in Google there are lot of theory about lepcha people that they have migrated from one of this countrys but they think themselves like they have not migrated from any place tell me pliz
Limbuwan didn’t loose war with Gorkha. There was a treaty between then gorkha king Pritivinarayan Shah and the Limbuwan. In fact Limbuwan was only region which Prithvinarayan shah couldn’t conquer with war.
If limbu had won, it would have been in their favor. But good thing happened now Nepal is strong with big population/land otherwise it might have been part of British empire
thanks for the information about limbu. watching you from Australia with my children and showing the history where we came from, and our surname limbu khewa. I will be following you.
Bahun lai chai sikkim ra Darjeeling vatai hatau hai. Look at nepal. How bahunbad is still there. Even chettri (khas) are starting to realise how bahuns had totally eradicated their own tradition and culture and bahuns enjoying seats more than they bargained for. This is done because bahuns and chettris are kept under one single cluster for electoral purpose, yet chettris are being deprived. Once known as khas, an animist (Masto God) foloower, buddhism worshippers, matrilineal society, pastoralist and salt traders, later Hinduized by bahuns who ran from india to Jumla of karnali province with introduction of Janai system, hindusim, casteism. This is not Nepal. This is Darjeeling, this is Sikkim, this is Kalimpong followed by India's constitution to follow any religion. Bahunbad, hindubad chai chaldaina hai.
You said that Limbuwan was defeated by Gorkha. The truth is that Limbuwan was never defeated by the Gorkha army. That is why Gorkha king Prithibi Narayan Shah made a treaty with Limbuwan king which is also called Nun Pani Treaty.
I don't accept your research work n cannot express your poor collection in the post. I think you have to go long way before making such meaningless RUclips channel..

Blood brotherhood could have been among limbus and Thapas too but it didn't this means that Lepchas were the native tribe of Sikkim. The peaceful pact by blood was to live smas brothers and sisters as one blood one kin by marriage and also loyalty.

The way the content creator says the names of indigenous leaders and places is so very impressive ! U have done your research and home work quite well.. That means the only credible history of Sikkim lies after sighning of the treaty of blood brotherhood between the Chiefs Thekong Thek and Khe Bumsa! Issay bad toh apko koi confusion nahin hogi shayad! Now, lets have a video on tge phase after that! Looking forward to it! 😊

Thank you so much for the analysis of Sikkim history......There was a Lepcha king Limbu and Magar king
They were Lepcha and Magar Chiefs

However, they eventually converted to Hinduism and mixed with Indo- Aryan tribues such as Khas and Tharus that lived in western middle and southern Nepal. Nowdays, Magars often look like Half Indians. The Sens on the other hand were Bengalis and had close connections with Khas, Madhesi and Newar tribes. Hi can u make one more video about the limbu .
Thankyou sir somuch jankari ke liye.
You are wrong in that line where you told limbu's couldn't resist gorkhas! Limbuwan was the only kingdom which gorkha empire couldn't won. All total 17 battle's were fought and all those 17battles were won by the limbuwani force. Gorkha couldn't conquer limbuwan so they made a pact treaty with them known as 'salt water treaty' and gave them lal mohar. Gorkha king P.N Shah promised the autonomy of limbuwan and the kipat system

It's heartbreaking 💔
It's not Gorkhaland, it's Lepchaland.

Limbuwan didn’t loose war with Gorkha. There was a treaty between then gorkha king Pritivinarayan Shah and the Limbuwan. In fact Limbuwan was only region which Prithvinarayan shah couldn’t conquer with war.
It still became part of Gorkha kingdom though. Treaty was in favor of gorkha that means it is winning. Sorry but it’s true
If limbu had won, it would have been in their favor. But good thing happened now Nepal is strong with big population/land otherwise it might have been part of British empire

Yes! Sikkim Magar history
In mahabharatas there is mention of kirat and mlech , there is a legend at one time the mech seperated and one group were later known limbus .
You said that Limbuwan was defeated by Gorkha. The truth is that Limbuwan was never defeated by the Gorkha army. That is why Gorkha king Prithibi Narayan Shah made a treaty with Limbuwan king which is also called Nun Pani Treaty.

They came from west Nepal served as gorkha army and setteld there in Sikkim so,How they are listed in to ST?😅

Blood brotherhood could have been among limbus and Thapas too but it didn't this means that Lepchas were the native tribe of Sikkim. The peaceful pact by blood was to live smas brothers and sisters as one blood one kin by marriage and also loyalty.
