I played in high school 15 years ago and am stunned by the defense I see now. Its not good. Sticks not up, late or no slides, and ducking out of the way of shots.... My coaches would be going nuts.
1.) Focus on the small things others don't. 2.) College coaches notice the small things like body language so pay attention to them 3.) Become a student of the game by watching as much film as possible and get coached on it.
