I've been really careful about reading modern thrillers, so rare that I come across a captivating and (more importantly) sense-making one 😂The Faces goes straight to my TBR!
The opening of this video with the pretty view was lovely, but doesn’t beat the opening where you made the fan joke 😂 also angsty teens are on a whole other level 😂
I have wanted to read the Copenhagen Trilogy for awhile. Since she was a poet, the writing is supposed to be superb. Faces sounds like it might be a bit too close to him for me right now. Maybe for People April???
Just to say I really appreciate the depth of your book reviews. So helpful for making a decision about the best books to read
Thank you for your sweet comment Heather!

I'm still an absolute noob when it comes to modern thrillers. This one I got because it was on sale and the cover was pretty heheh

I got the air-conditioning fixed, so no more fans for me 🤭
Angsty anyone is at a different level (talking as if I was never angsty myself lol)
Tova Ditlevsen has been on my curiosity TBR for awhile - haven’t purchased yet 📚
Same here before I read The Faces! After I read it, I have a good feeling that I might like her other works too.

People April sounds like a good time for that! I think I have something appropriate for it too!
Finals all done?
Agree that a novel should do better than say that a certain character is charming; it ought to demonstrate that.
Yup David, all done and waiting for the results today! 😝
