@@inrangerimfire20two just refuse to drill and tap this rifle. It’s as pristine as it was when it was bought purchased new by my grandmother for my fathers 10th birthday not so much as a scratch on her,
Ugh, well, i would be very cautious as well. I have used silicone in the past on heritage pieces rather than epoxy because it absolutely will not harm the bluing, where epoxy can in some cases. I have used Permatex Black with excellent hold and would do so again
Hi i need to mount a scope on my BSA 5 but im in South Africa. Any idea on where to start looking for spares. I just got the rifle so i have no idea where to start
Well, I am not sure the availability of spare parts in SA, here in Canada there are zero available. My suggestion is perhaps try a weaver side mount? But you would have to drill and tap it for the mount
There are two kinds of people those who solve problems and those who simply quit. You sir are a problem solver! Well done!
Thanks man!
You sure are very good at what you do. Great explainer!
Looks like you did an excellent job of mounting that scope to me. 👍🏼
I appreciate it pal
A great solution, I'm think of doing the same with my Supersport 5, what size & type of fixing screws did you use please ?
Looks great. I wonder if that base would work on one of my rem 512’s I absolutely don’t wanna drill it
Well, it absolutely would work, it just depends on how far you want to go to make it work
