@tjhf96 honnestly as it has an auto empty station it doesn't really matter. At this level of things, it can resume vacuuming, so it just empty it, and resume where it was, no issue. It may cause a slight delay in overall vacuuming time, but to quote technology connexions on dishwashers : you know what I'm not doing while it's vacuuming ? Yes that's right, vacuuming. So except if it's noisy (which they may be tbh), the overall time of vaccuming is not really an issue.
I want this! Watching it reminds me of the robot war tv program I watched as a kid. When they attacked each other and fliped the other upside down or destroyed them.
Although I can see it potentially grabbing at things it shouldn't, but the arm could be useful for when it get's stuck... The added weight probably kills battery life, but probably improves vacuuming and mopping....
300 gram is approximately 2/3 of a pound, Not 1/3 of a pound as mentioned in the video. It's actually quite a lot of weight considering how fragile it looked in the video. 300 gram means it might be able to lift your running shoes, slippers and most dog/cat toys laying around.
Imagine if your dog left a turd on the floor, it would try and pick it up and fail and keep trying and getting mess all over the hand pickup, and then it moves on to your clothes and gets crap all over those too. lol
@alextheonewarrior So if I have a small coffee table in the middle of the living room, and there's a cat toy or a sock under it, does that mean the robot can't pick it up anymore? It can fit under the table, but it can no longer extend its robotic arm.
Now what I really want to know is .... what about the poo ? doesn't it pick it up ? avoid it ? or does like my old Roomba and drag it all over the floor ?
This feels so unnecessary, like its actively encouraging laziness. Having a robot vacuum already saves you a bunch of time cleaning your floors, so surely you can spare a little time to pick up your own damn socks and cables. I have owned multiple robot vacuums for around 8 years now, I love them, they save me so much work and keep my house pristine. One of the things I appreciate about them is that they encourage me to be tidy and put things away rather than leaving them laying around on the floor, which leads to a tidy house and a tidy mind.
Yeah… No. To me, Roborock jumped the shark. It is like the designing engineers were high one night and thought up the most outlandish feature they could imagine.
BS take It literally takes 1 minute to clean the dishes with a powerful and cheaper unit (sink). I bet you use a (expensive) dishwasher despite that? I never need to clean my floors and I bet its way cleaner than at your place because my floors could get vacuumed and mopped 2-3 times a day if I wished
If you have two different brands cleaning the floor at the same time do they fight each other?
Robot battle!🤖
I bet that dust bin is SMALL😬
No word on the dust bin size but if the robot can finish a couple of rooms before heading back to the base station it will be competitive

Bro that is the robot vacuum of the future!
I want this! Watching it reminds me of the robot war tv program I watched as a kid. When they attacked each other and fliped the other upside down or destroyed them.
more moving parts means more ways to break or be told 'replace part'.
So cool!!!! Can't wait for this to be used in the real world and for competition to one-up each other!
My cat said he won’t stop meowing until I buy him the roborock to clean up his toys around the house🐈⬛
I can’t wait till my cats see this in action! 😂
I can’t wait until a robovac can accurately avoid pet poop and barf!
Although I can see it potentially grabbing at things it shouldn't, but the arm could be useful for when it get's stuck...

Pardon my bad on-the-spot math! 300g is about half the weight of a typical smartphone.
@@vacuumnerds not half. twice. s24 ultra is 232g :)
That's innovative thinking!

Ur dog shouldn't be leaving turds inside
Right now it’s designed to pick up 4 different objects like socks and slippers.
I can't wait until its available in the US.
They say first half of this year
In my house it would use up all it's battery picking up circa 100 lego pieces everyday.
First prototype vacuum. Only supports 300gram as well very slow. After version 5 it becomes interesting
Yes, this is a prototype. They expect a consumer release in the first half of 2025.
That's sooo coool !
If they could use this arm to climb over small barriers up to 3cm, that would be great
It does climb over small ledges without using the arm.
@@vacuumnerds how small is small?
Роборок шикарный ❤❤❤❤
I swear the God I thought it was fake.
I cannot wait first unpaid tests.
I’ll get one when it’s available and it will not be a sponsored video
Okay, but what will it do when it has to get her socks out from under a chair, or a bed, or a piece of furniture?
It doesn't grab them? What kind of question is that.
"This robot grabs stuff off the floor!"
"Ok but what if its not on the floor??"
What???...

It avoids it
It looks cool but no real applications.
So that rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr page WAS real then.
I'll never have to pick up pet toys again.
Poop is another question.
What's my purpose.
Dreame has also promoted a kind of robot vacuum cleaner with an arm on the internet. Can you also visit Dreame's stand? 😎
Heading to check out Dreame today!
That arm is SLOW

a feature no one asked for
Your mom and girl will use it in a way that you didn’t imagine😂
This robot sucks. I mean, socks!

@lucasmarsula7924 Are you eating off your floors?
@@annoyedok321 Don't you value your time?
@lucasmarsula7924 Yes, but the conversion of money to time is horrible on this as well as maintenance time.
This just piss me off. Im waiting months for a better robot with upgraded vacuum/mopping. Then they reveal this joke..
