Hi Chris, Thank you so much for this information. It's all pretty confusing in the beginning. I was wondering if I can have some of your insights. I just started to invest with Vanguard Australia selecting 3 etfs. After my purchase, I realized there was a brokerage fee of 9$ with Etf but none with Managed funds. What I want to do as my strategy is choose 3 funds, get dividends automatically reinvested and install an automatic investment payment. So it seems managed fund would be better to avoid brokerage fees but they do have higher management fees... I'm unsure of what to do then...what are your taughts? Cheers! Catherine
Hi Chris, thanks for the videos, they’re great. I note you don’t personally hold VDHG, but this is the fund you recommend in the “BEST Vanguard ETFs” video as the best of the best. Why is this?
Hi Gusto, thanks for watching! I actually invested in the retail fund equivalent of VDHG called "Vanguard LifeStrategy High Growth Fund" when I first started investing. It's no longer open to new investors. Because I dollar cost average, I've stuck to it and not VDHG.
thanks chris - loved it. I want to invest in an index fund.

@@ChrisChowShow So would you recommend VDHG?
Do you know how much taxes you have to pay for having or any trade on ETFs in Australia?, I mean investing in S&P 500 for instance. Greetings!!
thanks chris - very helpful
