  • Panchmishali sobji is a vegetable dish. Many different types of vegetables you can add specially seasonal vegetables.There are several versons of panchmishali tarkari and the choice of phoron(or tempering) will depends on vegetables used. In this recipe, I used potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, radish, gati kochu/taro root, brinjal with tempering kalo jire (nigella seeds), bay leaf,dry chilly. When the vegetables are cooked I used crushed black pepper and nigella seeds.
