New BGGWSS Idea: "The Protoss Snake" - Open however you like, but sneak a pylon out near your enemies third. From this pylon, you are going to grow the 'structure snake' towards their natural, backed up with your army slowly advancing alongside it. The structure snake is made up of all of the 2X2 sized protoss structures (pylons/batteries/cannons) of your choosing, but the next segment of snake must be built adjacent and touching the rest of the snake. - This works similar to the 'snake' game on on mobile phones, it advances in it's direction one pixel at a time eating food, and the snake grows. If you think as each pylon as the size of one pixel, your snake will be growing like this. It may actually be quite hard for the enemy to attack your snake because it defends itself (cannons) and your army will be at the head of the snake, defending it, and being healed by the shield batteries. The snake itself also will act as a surface area reduction, making ling surrounds on your units difficult while they are next to the snake. Keep advancing towards your opponents natural and break it open. If you like you can even build the occasional 3X3 gateway as a fat segment of snake, just to allow fast warpins to reinforce your army, if you like. Any destroyed structures of the snake MUST be replaced before the snake can continue to grow towards the opponents natural base, but i'll allow you to choose where you want the first segment to be placed, just try to put it somewhere they wont find for a while, I want the snake to be a large surprise for the enemy when the finally see it growing closer and closer to their base. Snake segments cannot be fully-diagonal, but you can offset the position by 1 square from the next segment (giving you 3 choices each time. exactly next to, or left by 1 square, or right by 1 square) to give you the option to advance slightly diagonally when you need it, giving you some freedom to build the snake as you like, but all segments must be adjacent.
You may use a Forge as one of the 'fat' segments of the snake if you like, but it may be wiser to use the forge to wall at home instead. - Forge is actually optional; there is no rule against just having the snake comprised of just pylons/batteries as long as you obey the standard adjacency rules
Hello, cap'n o7 ! BGMWSS suggestion if you decide to offrace as Zerg for whatever reason: 'It's a Zergling, Lester!' - Rush *burrow* and create an underground ambush earlygame, baiting your opponent's ground force with a few zerglings into a good spot where your own units will unburrow. This can be followed-up with burrowed roach harrass and might be usefull lategame for sneaky Infestor surprise-attacks as well... Have a good one! o7
BGMWSS Additional Research Required: In order to progress, the protoss race must expand and discover. Only one tech building per base location, eg gateways in the main the core is in natural and robo/SG at third, you don't have to take the base to build the tech but the tech must spread out to the base positions. Forge, twighlight council etc must be spread out as well. It is similar to your campaign roleplaying BGMWSS but I think more difficult as the tech is even more spread out.
24:50 - I can't believe Harstem held here. Then again, I think this was rather more the zerg's mistake than Harstem's achievement -- he didn't seem to micro his queens at all !!! Incredible !!!
"Base Split (Polite Gamble Variation)" : all your expensions must be as far as possible one from the other. You have to politely inform your opponent when and where you take a base. Your sentence must start by "Breaking news !" Also, i love your content 😊👍
BGMWSS : As terran, you need to do harass with medevac, the only units that can be loaded are vikings and SCV. Continue the great work, I love the humor and the gameplay.
hero played this against lambo's queenwalk on blackburn if I recall correctly ... I loved the mass oracle back in the days ... (obviously just watching it, not playing against it :D)
Boy Who Cried Wolf: As Terran get 3 Academies and nukes. During the game nuke random parts of the map so that they start to ignore the nuke warnings. Then nuke either their production, probes or army when they are complacent.
Got an idea for Terran. Proxy your 3rd or natural on the opponents 4th or 5th base (ideally so there's a deadspace between the proxy base and their main) and play mass BCs from there. The proxy base can then be used to repair your BCs while they're close to the enemy base instead of having to move back and forth across the entire map.
Probably a nice beating grandmaster with stupid stuff: You can only attack if you kill a critter before moving out with your army. The number of critters on the map limits your chances for attack :).
@@michaellewis8849 nah, it's not that. The stasis got destroyed before it was even up. I just watched it reaaally slowly multiple times: The ARCHON does get damaged. The Stalkers are like 1 pixel farther from the explosion range, tho, and don't take damage.
What about a game where you only make tier 2+ units so no zealot, adept, stalker, or sentry. Rely on Robo and Stargate. Templar and Dark Templar are allowed as well as Archons obviously.
Sounds like Tempest Rush or VoidRay with Batteries and maybe Immortal. In my mind it's nothing special or new. But proov me wrong or add some crazy playstyle to it.
Wouldn't it be better to build voidrays instead of mirroring opponent tempests? On lower levels it usually works, since there's too much of an overkill with temptest shots and voidrays build fast, they are faster than tempests, so they can catch them and they have insane DPS and they cost less also.
Suggestion: No upgrades! No +1, no blink, no charge, just the worst possible version of every unit. If that's not enough of a challenge, no units that have no specific upgrades like Immortals, Disruptors and Carriers.
for a moment i just thought man there are comming the ultras... xD thats what happens to me when i destroyed all Zerg air Units and BOOM, 7 Ultras popping out ^^
@@isy6047 Have you actually played a game above maybe Gold League? Protoss needs to tech up as fast as possible to either Twilight, Robo or Stargate to stand a chance of surviving, and focusing on 4 Adepts before you tech up is useless unless you are going mass Adept opening anyways, and even then you need a Twilight for Glaives or they will be useless. The 75 gas from the other 3 Adepts after your first can be used to build your first tech building much earlier and start upgrading Warpgate, which is especially important in PvP since your opponent will have much more units much faster if you delay Warpgate that long. Not only that, you need 5 Adepts to one shot Sentries (if they attack in sync enough that a shield battery doesn't recharge shields), which brings the total up to 125 - that's 100 wasted gas, a whole Robo, and 400 minerals, a whole new expansion's worth. All that just to deny scouting maybe once before your opponent has enough units to overwhelm your Adepts?
Didn't you see the opponent's observers once Harstem got his own? Or hear Harstem repeatedly saying the enemy can see his army? It's easy to be everywhere and counter your opponent when you have observers everywhere around the map.
Imagine hearing your military commander say: "We're a little bit like the military".
Harstem: I don't wanna play mass blink stalkers, otherwise it would be too easy
Also Harstem: plays mass blink stalkers

Wow, the OG mass oracles build hits like a truck
28:10 ah the dreaded skytoss army
"14 oracles against 15 mutas".
Didn't think I'd ever hear this comparison being made.
I was about to comment this... And the Oracles win too, so OP!
Still remember that Has game and watching the crowds reaction was soo good lmaooo

Absolutely loved the game vs Zerg. An inspiration
Oh boy, this is gonna be good 😂
Been a few months since I followed any SC2 stuff, but I'm very happy to see these videos are still the same good ol stuff!
Harstem every time his opponent walks into a stasis ward: Oooooohhhh nooo!! How unfortunate! 🤣🤣
Mass Cyclone when?

hey harstem, can you make an episode with "fight fire with fire", where you build your opponent's forces (in mirror matches of course)?
I really like the idea of bringing back and testing old builds for this series.
"Accidentally" a really fun and intense match vs Zerg.
You legend! You took my suggestion! :D
It always feels great)
Just thought another day - it will be fun to see BGwSS with mass oracles. Our Captain indeed can read minds! 🧠
Terran BGMWSS: marine-less bio. Rushing around, dropping reapers and ghosts ...
Thank you for bringing us these games. They are fun to watch.
Come for the StarCraft stay for the humor. Uppa harstem!

PLEASE MORE MASS ORACLES
What are the chances that on the very first game you're going mass oracle you run into a guy NAMED blink stalker??
I love the "zerg protoss" style of 90-110 probes and masssss zealot stalker on low gass count its just hilarious to play
This series should be called ''Doing stupid stuff, getting my ass saved by Disruptors and beating GrandMasters'' haha
3:16 Bless you papa harstem
This is my kind of stupid!
New Protoss build: Fist of Ulrezaj. You are only allowed to build Nerazim units (stalkers, dark templars, void rays).
I have a recommendation for beating grandmasters…
You must kill all cleaning bots or critters before you end the game
This is genius
I feel like Harstem would enjoy adding a “kill every critter on the map” challenge onto one of the less difficult bgmwss
Probably a nice beating grandmaster with stupid stuff: You can only attack if you kill a critter before moving out with your army. The number of critters on the map limits your chances for attack :).
The kinda move up and down on your chair! i wonder how long the Chair will hold
Mass Oracles? Only HAS comes to mind .
09:26 - shouldn't that disruptor shot have wreaked havoc? It dealt like 0 damage wtf...
Units in stasis cannot be damaged or affected by any other abilities. It's the trade you get for keeping a part of the enemy's forces immobile.
@@michaellewis8849 nah, it's not that. The stasis got destroyed before it was even up.
I just watched it reaaally slowly multiple times: The ARCHON does get damaged. The Stalkers are like 1 pixel farther from the explosion range, tho, and don't take damage.
Mass tank+thor. A rolling march of tanks sieging and unsieging forward with thors for anti air. Maybe something air as a spotter for the tanks.
Would a stasis trap or 2 have helped against the queen walk?
Awesome! I wanted to watch this suggestion
2:30 if opponent doesn't ragequit how will you finish him off?
ahh yes the 14 oracle vs. 15 mutas. that is magic
Terran or protoss, you can only attack via drops. No walking to the other side of the map allowed!! Ps. G E K O L O N… grapje.
how about using infestors in overlords the way protoss use high templars in warp prisms
this is a Florencio strategy.

I'm here because of the thumbnail dude :)
well..... and I love your videos.
@Harstem you should do an archon battery push!
B(G)MWSS for TvZ: use early ghosts to snipe harass - queens, drones, overlords, anything
"kerrigan origins challenge" :)
Terran mass viking only should be a fun challenge.
Has he done a BGMWST where a certain % of his army has to be hallucinations? I feel that could be entertaining.
Hmm, I think if you adjust the definition for “massing” to getting a high number at one time. Maybe when you mass is more important than how quickly?

Mass Stalkers with some hallucinate stalkers up front is not bad opponent feels overwhelmed no need for blink just a move a mix
Hi Harstem - could you do a beating GM by neural parasiting the other races worker/beating them with their own units?
BGMWSS idea: Hamster picks some of the worst builds from IODIS and you have to play them
Suggestion: No upgrades! No +1, no blink, no charge, just the worst possible version of every unit. If that's not enough of a challenge, no units that have no specific upgrades like Immortals, Disruptors and Carriers.
Suggestion for next video: tricking your opponent with hallucinated tech!
I recommend stealing Winter's name for this strategy: Moracle.
kind if wondering if mass vikings who do as terren
Harstem with future sight channelling Zest vs Ragnarok
Beating stupid stuff with grand masters
BGMWSS idea: You have to do a push with +1 air armor (before warp gate)
Maybe it's imba? who knows until you try.
Yes, you finally did it!
Oracles got a lot of nerfs. Stasis, revalation, armor class and it's microability. Those were all nerfed that is why it is not as popular.
Good old KnowMe style builds.
Harstem you're the king!
for a moment i just thought man there are comming the ultras... xD thats what happens to me when i destroyed all Zerg air Units and BOOM, 7 Ultras popping out ^^
