Ever felt like you were just slogging your way through the spiritual life?
You're doing your best to work on this virtue or that, but frustrated because you just can't seem to make progress.
Yes, you've had some minor victories here and there...like not speaking when everything inside of you was screaming, "Are you kidding me???"
Or maybe you changed the channel or clicked away from something you knew wasn't going to be good for your soul.
Even so, all too often it feels like one step forward and two steps backward in the life of virtue.
We've all been there at some point or another.
    But there's hope...
Perhaps you've heard that humility is the queen of the virtues.
In fact, the spiritual greats call it the "Queen of the Virtues" because it feeds and empowers the rest of them.
And there's a deeper secret power of this queenly virtue that once understood and employed, can radically change your whole spiritual life.
Give me four minutes and I'll explain it in today's Sainthood Snippet.

Lord Jesus Christ, may your word take deep root in our hearts and transform our way of thinking, discerning, and acting. May your Spirit open our ears to hear and understand the word of God in the Scriptures that we may revere and treasure both the Old and the New Testaments which God has prepared for all who desire to enter his kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy. Help us to be a diligent student and faithful disciple of your word. Amen.
