    You should do this for materials!! I spent such a long time not finding comprehensive information to make me fully understand how materials worked in Unreal, until I FINALLY found a paid tutorial that sits down and goes over it. I was embarrassed as I went through it at how many things I hadn't ever learned, despite the things I could make in Unreal.

    When can we get some interactive explosives, magic etc in sequencer. Perhaps we can expect intermediate Blueprints, etc. You are the absolute best UE5 instructor. Thanks

      I’m crazy booked these days with projects but I can recommend the “unreal slackers” discord channel, there’s an animation section there where lotsa game animation support happens!

      @@3dJC Yep, I am in that group as well. Although I find they don't respond to my questions most of the time. My biggest issue is adding/changing anims to animation sequences and blueprints. I watched your video and it was helpful, but not exactly what I need, since I am digging into another devs BP's. Perhaps you could do more of a 'advanced' video? =) All the best!

    hey there, loving your videos! I was wondering if you could give me a clue or basic idea for a problem that I have. It might sound like a dumb question though... Is there any way to have different light settings on one map? For instance I want to have different views which a lit separately within my level sequencer. My approach would be to just create different maps but I don‘t want to build my scene all over again. Thank you, cheers!

    • @3dJC
      @3dJC  Год назад +1

      Good question! What you can do is build the different light set-ups on their own "sub-level" (there's no such asset as a "sub-level" really, it's just another level that's brought into your current level...). This video will help: ruclips.net/video/o7JVENd7Jq0/видео.html

    So how do you 'untrigger' the event in Sequencer ? Can I set another keyframe and turn into 0 ?

  • @alexdubin1992
    @alexdubin1992 Год назад

    You talked about how to stop the light from shining when you've stepped away from it, and you mentioned it stayed on in the sequencer, but you forgot to show us how to turn it off in the event graph. I looked into things like custom event end or event end play. not sure what to connect it to.

    for metahuman, when I swap body or legs cloth (skeleton), it's not swapping automatically the material as in your tuto; don't know why ?

    What if I wanted multiple fire like muzzle flashes? How'd I go about it? Only one fire or trigger worked, though I tried doing multiple triggers for one blue print.

    • @skyrunnerpictures
      @skyrunnerpictures Год назад

      I figured it out. You have to duplicate the blue print and trigger each event separately. Or Make individual static meshes for individual blue print. Whew.
