I am looking for "Drunken Master 2" on DVD with the original score and the sound effects for the punching and kicking. When released in the U.S. as "The Legend of Drunken Master" in 2000, I found it entertaining but I did not like it when they changed the score like they always do with Jackie Chan films. Is the original "Drunken Master 2" available on DVD ?
"it is also the peak of Jackie Chan filmographie". that is so true. rumble in the bronx was a good movie (far not a tuxedo level) but that mainstream status that he seeked for so many years has been bad to his carieer. i'm waitin for armour of god 3 tough.
@masterbater35 Sadly there is only a thai dvd version still out there that is available to buy. But be patient, somebody somewhere will remaster the original print with all original soundtrack. It is even weird that this was not done yet. And yeah, the american version sucks!!!
@torhjelm I agree but there must be someone in the East that will release this film on blu-ray someday. As for the West, well the american studio who bought the rights for the movie and release that crappy edition with another soundtrack and cuts will probably rest on it for a while. One more thing, not all of he's Lo Wei films are crap!!!. Good day
