- In this video Eric demos the Greenchild Effects Mr. Boost. This boost provides up to +26dB of boost to push the front end of an amp into some heavenly sounds while also cleaning up extremely well.

Hey did you ever looked up greenchild social media?
Nice playing! Looks like its about time for an oil change in that fender hat😁
sounds fantastic. heavy Thorpy aesthetic.
The creator ripped off Thorpy hard and won’t admit it.
Fantastic Eric.
Great demo, I've found that I'm using a boost as an always-on pedal (because the tone is kind of addictive).
I just purchased a clone of a Rangemaster Germanium Treble Boost and wow, very sweet. I've tried it on both my Silverface Fender as well as my Marshall Plexi and recommend everyone give a simple boost pedal a test-drive. The version I purchased is a very inexpensive/simple DYI Kit.
It's a very simple/rudimentary circuit faithful to the original Rangemaster.
I always play with a boost on even if it’s just set for a 4-5 DB kiss. It livens up the pickups and makes all the other overdrive pedals sound a little fatter.
Boost Sounds great! What wet effects are you using? Also l’m looking for a 4x10 cabinet and this sounds great! Do you a link of the Mesa 4x10? Does it come with those Jensens?
As far as I know the Jensens are what comes in those cabinets. For reverb I almost always use the Strymon Flint and for a bit of a slap back I’ll employ a Deluxe Memory man or sometimes a Boss DM-2
Thanks 😊
Eric is damn good on that geeeTar. So imma steal or should i say use some of his licks!!
Eric, do you find that the solid rosewood neck kind of tames some of the Strat's high-end?
I ask because I'm starting a PartsCaster Build and have an Ash body and a solid rosewood neck I plan to use.
Great playing, looks like you're having a great time.
Yeah it mellows it out a bit. Man this particular strat is great. It’s a standard American strat just like I got it. I haven’t changing anything but strings and a set up on it. It has factory fat 50s Pick ups
@@Guitarsenal Nice. I've got a 2000 American Deluxe I pulled the Vintage Noiseless out of and replaced it with a set of those Fat '50s. I really like them (the Fat '50s, NOT the Vintage Noiseless).
I've been trying to diversify myself of a late 1979 Heckler & Koch complete rifle system, once I move that I'll be able to support my GAS affliction!
Thanks for the info about the solid rosewood neck, I kind of figured it might mellow it out a touch.
Eric, the link for your reverb store isn't working!
The link I pulled from DuckDuck search is different (and it works).
I’ll check the link tomorrow
You are an OUTSTANDING player! I spend a LOT of time watching Iraqvetern8888 videos. I am an avid guitar player myself. Gonna spend more time here. SUPER IMPRESSED!
Yeah, both of Eric's channels hit home for me. Of all the hobbies a guy could have I sometimes feel like I've chosen the two most expensive!
At the least both the most loud!
@@hkguitar1984 Most definitely! Guitar 44 years. Guns 1 year. I have spent a TON on guns and ammo in the past year.
@@GeneSchmidt I feel your pain Gene. Myself, I've been buying guitars and amps since 1974. I became serious about firearms in April 20th, 1993...............
😇
Is this company even around anymore?
Great playing, but that Pedal makes your guitar sound worse … wtf?
