I keep watching him and thinking "If it's resin and you know it, clap your hands!"...
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤣🤣🤣
Dont be cruel he's a good welcoming host 😁
Thank you so much for featuring us, Joel. We always have the best time with you!
Any time!
Most importantly, Raise3D is finally raising 3d prints instead of lowering them.
I love the enthusiasm here - both Joel and Derek. I now wish that I was in a larger scale manufacturing environment.
Please let me try one of these out 🙏🏽 love the intelligent build plate idea, traceability and error proofing wash/cure settings are certainly improved above current methods. 👏🏼
My dude copied Copy-Paste and patented it. Stunning.
What a beautiful 3D-Printer. Thank for your Videos. greetings from germany👍
Great interview Joel! Mahalo for sharing! 🙂🙏
Somebody want to pre-order me one? These are cool!
Hope DLP gets cheaper and more widely available, especially at larger build volumes.
It may be out of my price range, but anytime I see a new Resin printer that doesn't use ChituBoards I smile
Looks good but it’s designed for high end production for the normal user at 5000 it’s out of there price range. If I was running a print farm it would be something I would consider.
That Thing is GORGEOUS..but way out of my Price range...)
👏 👏👏👏👏
78um resolution - sure it's a DLP, but man if you are printing functional parts that kind of resolution starts being a problem if you want close-fitting parts. The lower the native resolution (um) the harder you have to work as a designer to get parts to fit. Now once you've figured it out then you can crank the parts out. $7K eh?
it's $5,000. Still too expensive for that small build volume and that resolution. What is Raise3D playing at?
Hi man, just curious what close-fitting parts you generally print with DLP?
"Config stored on the build plate, and follows the part" -- Severe doubt. Company would ask me to store things server-side, every time. But, if this is actually what they did, dealing with the tiny capacity that RFID tags have, definitely has my attention.
Aww why did you unlist this, a lot of people might be interested in this!
It looks like the 3d printer can auto fill resin, can it unfill too?
No
oh 100% two G´s = at first: good Chemistry between you two! - and secondly: a really good locking and smart Printer!
Perfekt start in my Day! Thank you Joel for this Quality of Information! Interesting fact for me, after watching the video 4 times I still find it just as interesting as the first time! Good job!
Thank YOU for always being so supportive!
$8K..How many months before this is sub 2k? 18? 24 at most?
it's already dropped to 5k on the site. So at this rate, about 1 week.
Wow, that pricing is hilariously off base
Nice to see that the've got some things right. At our company we've bought a Raise3D Pro2 plus a few years ago for an insane amout of money, thinking it would be a user friendly experience and a good point to start. We had to learn the hard way that the missing ABL was rendering this printer pretty much useless since the build plate is crazy uneven. Now it is standing around and collecting dust because neither a upgrade path by Rais3D themselves was provided nor is the printer open source so that we could add some state of the art technologies ourselfes. You can't even use 3rd party slicers with that shitbox
yes, we have had nothing but problems with Raise3D machines. They look pretty but the quality and reliability is shite for the price you pay.
Thanks the Video 🎉
The price seems quite competitive for an industrial DLP-System. But it's also a locked system which makes it unattraktiv für professionals who wants to have full control over every parameter.
Anycubic D2 is 1/10th the price, DLP and has similar build volume. is this 10x better than the D2? I see no evidence of that.
Only 7200
''raise'' your print quality standards, use ''Raise 3D'' in your next printing job! ;)
looks nice! good luck!
“We did do sanding a lot, except for the bottom you can see it’s printed” ….
Take a shot every time Derek claps
I've died 3 times of alcohol poisoning and I'm only halfway through the video
$5000... well, hopefully some of this innovation trickles down to the consumer side.
it's a credit card on a build plate, with no cash in it.
Oh only 5k USD, this company really likes expensive engineering time
Over 7K for a system. A lot of money for such a small build plate.
and resolution equivalent of 2k.
way to expensive
7K for resin printer with 2K resolution in 2023. What a bargain!
Haha. yeah sign me up. I'll stick to my M5S. 19 micron resolution, similar print volume, 1/10th of the price.
I would not call it affordable by any means, not for individuals and not for small companies unless their entire operation is based around it.
Their machines are not so reliable either. Once the warranty expires and it fails, you have an expensive brick remaining
5000 bucks is that all lol who can afford it
it's funny when i Chinese brand talks about their ''patents'' whey they copied everything until now
Nearly $5,000 for a 200 x 112 x 300 mm build volume HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
