I would say no. Any template of mine that require a heat gun to form pieces would not bend into shape with cardboard. You should look at Dali Lomo on RUclips. He has one.

I don't know. Hair dryers don't get hot enough. You can buy a heat gun for under 15 bucks on Amazon
