Hey y’all! I’m so grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey with me. I couldn’t have done it without y’all. Today we are trying RUclips’s BRAND NEW “premiere” feature with the final CDT video. I’ll be here when the video posts to watch it with all of you. Feel free to check out the live chat feature, where I’ll be chatting with everyone as “THE END” is streaming :) Thanks again and I hope everyone enjoys it!

Dixie, I stand in awe of you my dear! You have more courage, passion, & persistance than I could ever muster up. I watched your AT video series. It took me two nights to watch it all. You had me in tears at your biological fathers grave, that was very touching. You did it again when you shared losing your beautiful dog, I'm a dog lover too. Then at the trails end, once again I teared up. I was so proud of all you had accomplished on the AT. Then I started watching the UDT video series on a Friday night, made through the 8th video before going to sleep. On Saturday afternoon, I asked my wife if she would like to see what I had been watching, she said yes. We watched the rest of the series nonstop. We were both amazed at all you saw & went through! I couldn't believe how calm you were with the eye to eye contact with the mountain lion & then you played the harmonica! Blew me away!! Now I'm going to watch the PCT series. Young lady, you are amazing & I have a new hero!! Good luck in all you do!!

Im a fireman and watch a lot of YT while at work. Not exactly sure how i came across this channel and i cant stop watching it. I started with the PCT journey and now just watched the entire CPT journey over the last three days. It have been a wonderful journey and thankful to guys documented it so well. I have spent a lot of time in the rockies hunting and camping and have loved every minute of it. This series, this last video brought tears to my eyes knowing that you guys achieved your goals and dreams. I will be encouraging my 15 year old daughter and 14 year old son to watch these videos. I tell them about goals and chasing dreams all the time but i really think these videos will inspire them in ways even a parent may not be able to. Thank you

Thanks not just for including us through the videos but for bringing us the next level in hiking cinematography. Take care and I'll be watching. FA out.

Thank you SO much for all the shares and for who you are!

You've got spunk, young lady! When I look at the picture of you at the start of the AT and compare it to your picture at the end of the CDT, I see an a much wiser and stronger woman. It has been a pleasure to share your journey and I thank you for giving your Patreons so much attention. Good luck in the future and hope you finally get back home to share your joy with your family!

You are an inspiration for all of us watching! I think the emotion you feel at completing these hikes transfers over. I'm very emotional watching you guys finish. I have never really wanted to hike in my life but after watching these videos, I want to... I've camped out all my life and been outdoorsy, especially hard core skier (native Coloradan), but, I'm totally afraid of Mountain Lions... They scare me more than bears, maybe I'm stupid, but... wow, to anyone who gets out there and does this... Montana, mountains, and snow storms are no joke, I've been in the snow and cold a lot because of skiing. I think some of these outdoor companies should be supporting you because it certainly says a about the equipment and clothes you chose... Yea for girl power!! Go be that spokesperson. I certainly am sick of watching the Kardashians and people like them make millions and they really don't do anything, who doesn't look beautiful spending hours on makeup and hair, it's nothing film high soap opera drama on a daily basis and the masses eat it up, instead of getting out there and living their own life. It's actually pretty pathetic and doesn't say much about American society as a whole. I think drama with weather, survival skills, mountain lions and bears is more "real" than biotch drama any day. Kudos to you!! You could probably even do seminars and motivation for girls... because I think these films are wonderful, and I think you should put them all together and do a movie or a series of movies. Think Ken Burns and Netflix....

I just love you Dixie! I only discovered you about 2 weeks ago during the Coronavirus crisis and I've binge watched both the PCT and the CDT videos. I couldn't believe it when I found myself crying as you were nearing the end of the PCT and then again as you finished the CDT. You've inspired me to get out and start hiking, realistically, for the first time ever. I hope to section hike the PCT bit by bit in the next few years. Thank you for taking the time to let us into your world and for making it about something more than just hiking and nature. Best of luck in your future endeavors. I hope you can get back here to Oregon, some day, so that you can see it instead of just a bunch of smoke. Little Crater Lake was beautiful, huh?

Tracy L Treadmill is not the most ideal way to condition for long distance trekking. I strongly recommend putting a pack on and find some hills or flights of stairs if you're a city dweller. A weight vest is also a really good option.

Congratulations! It would be nice to know the toughest parts of the whole hike. Was the cold or snow toughest, or rain? Those bear prints were massive. That is sobering to see. Glad you made it past them. The snow covered landscape is beautiful. You picked good music. I liked it., like around 4:25.
Your videos really make me happy to see the world, to hear you and the others with you, plus how you solve problems and enjoy the world. People like you on RUclips tend to have an awesome realness and rawness to video and yet refine it quite well with video editing and good audio.
Best of all, there's little commercialism in these videos. I hope this becomes the de facto standard for at least a large segment of video for many years or decades to come.
Your videos make people happy so you make a real difference in the world. Some people with certain jobs may not feel it but you most definitely should. :)

Congratulations! I have loved watching your journey over the summer! I loved the tone of all these videos and found them so inspiring. I have recently got back into hiking myself after watching your videos and remembering just how therapeutic it is to be outdoors. Thanks for bringing us along.

SO proud of you. And you know what? As I have watched your videos, I've actually started to have less and less time to watch because I'm actually getting out there and planning things for myself. Your impact is so much further beyond likes, views, and subscribers - you're making and have made a positive difference in a lot of people's lives. I'm hiking the Manistee River Trail in Michigan this weekend to test some gear for my PCT thru hike next year.

Congratulations on completing your hike. Thank you for sharing it with us and inspiring future CDT hikers! I especially liked the drone footage. Too bad you had to end your hike on the road, but you do what you have to do to stay safe and make the best of things as they come. But if I have to end my future CDT hike in a similar manner, I know myself and it just wouldn't sit well inside me. I'd likely spend the winter planning a return trip to Glacier in better conditions to hike and see what I may have missed. I hope you make it back to Glacier one day. Good luck on your next adventure where ever it takes you.
