Hi Dave, Brilliant, off on another wild Camp 🏕👏. Sour milk ghyll looked very impressive! It looked a bit nippy up there at camp, but a cuppa and a tea cake will soon sort that out 😋🫖🍰. Gorgeous views from your pitch down to Buttermere 🤗⛰️. Not too shabby! Looks like a great catch up with your pal. Thanks for taking us along, All the best, Pete and Shell 😊👊👍
Hi Pete, Hi Shell, This was a cracking adventure. The path up by Sourmilk Gill is very steep with a couple hills of scrambly sections but was great fun with some amazing views. The plan was originally to camp on Great Gable but it was far too windy so we made the decision to just head to Brandreth and camp low behind some rocks for a bit of shelter. In the end it worked out brilliantly because as you say the views down Buttermere and Ennerdale were epic. The brew and tunnocks tea cake went down a treat. Fortunately the wind did drop and I was able to get some decent sleep. All the best guys and thanks as always for supporting my channel. 😃👍⛰🥾🏕️
