lol I did the Kaizen style foam insert on the Hart box and carry my 1/4” Fuel hex driver, my 3/8” Fuel Stubby, and Fuel 3/8 Ratchet, 3 HO 2.5 batts, and all of my SAE/Metric shallow impact sockets from Gearwrench. I use it on road trips just in case
That's Awesome! I wish I could see a picture or video. Think about uploading a response video! Share your link here. I'm sure plenty of people would like to see your setup!

Thank You for commenting and asking. Just for my personal taste I don't care for soft bags much. I only use them as an alternative for wearing a toolbelt. And that's only on the rare occasion when I have to do a lot of walking around with just a few tools. Just did a video in that situation: Episode 9. So I guess I'm a bad person to ask, just not my preference. Hey, what's your thoughts on them?
Understood. I look forward to hearing what you think of my modified case. I got what I needed in a Hart while getting more durability. For my needs, I think I outdid both the Rigid and the Kobalt. I'll comment here with the link once the video is released.
You know what, I think you're right. It's shell is not made to take constant scuffs from other loose tools. Will scar all up. I would stick with The Rigid for that kind of use. Matter of fact either the Rigid or Hart big roller boxes would be nice for that. I'm curious. What kind of work do you do and what brand of box are you currently using?
@@TheAuthenticTechSurgeon carpenter/ handy man . Currently using the husky tool tote trays and I hate em! I need water protection and theft protection. Looking at the rigid roller carts now on sale for fathers day!
@@TheAuthenticTechSurgeon well, I bit the bullet and went with Milwaukee packout. And honestly I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love em. First tho I ordered the Hart system and when it came in I noticed that it had no seal around the lids. And I have to have water proof boxes. So Milwaukee it is!

The xtr line from Kobalt is crazy good and the color scheme is better than the regular Kobalt
I see more people agree with that too. Thanks for commenting and the info!
Using the rigid boxes for 2 years. Wouldn’t change for anything.
Hart boxes could be a great alternative for Storage if they keep Price is right

What’s your thoughts on the soft roller bag stacks?

No way I'm picking hart over ridgib or kobalt and trust me I love hart, but the quality isn't quite there yet.

That box won't look that good after 10 years in the back of my truck!
