The problem is not the issue the device may have, but asus pratices regard honoring the warranty without trying to scam their customers for money everytime you send it in for repairs under warranty.
The battery and SD card issues being fixed is so great to see. I hope they got rid of them ugly bezels 😭🤦🏽♂️
The bazels are already very small, on a black device they become invisible
The sdcard is still on top so sdcard issue might happen.

I'm not a huge gamer but I'm really excited about the prospect of a handheld PC that's smaller and stronger than a laptop. I have a steam account with no way to play the steam games, so I'm buying it to play a few games I've been curious about but honestly I'm really more excited to use this as a portable desktop PC for music production. I already pre-ordered this and day one I'm installing FL STUDIO on it and seeing if I can make beats and record vocals on it. If not I'm bringing it back because that's the main thing I'm using it for 😂 if it can't do that then I'll just cop a steamdeck to play the few games I want to play.
I could just get a laptop or a desktop too which all my friends have been telling me. all of them are telling me not to buy this because I'll be wasting my money I'm excited to have a portable PC that I could play games on and produce on. I just hope it can do that with no issues. I already have a dock a keyboard a screen and a recording setup I just need the final piece

I would say go for ally x, better performance better ssd, all improved from past mistakes so yeah
If you plan on using the removable controllers of the Legion, either sitting and enjoying the bigger screen on a table/desk or for multi-player with a friend go for the Legion but I think the rog ally X is better overall, the battery upgrade is huge. Also Legion got this crazy high res display but it's pretty pointless for gaming, way too many pixels to be handled, only usable for watching a movie or similar
Of course it's better, and it also cost MORE. So it should be better. But is it "the higher cost" better?
