They're great for piracy use, lots of alpha for big ship shields. They struggle if you encounter fighters that know to keep range though due to the m/s. Good kills as always 💪🏼
@@Royaltea_Citizen sure, the main reason to change still is component hp, if you take a missile with stock components sometimes it can kill a key component, the stock ones have lower hp generally than the upgraded ones
TBH the combat looks really simple and boring. Is there more to it behind the scenes? Looks like people are just slowly floating and clicking on each other.
@@algroyp3r yes and no, with how cannons are tuned currently you can kill by point and click due to crazy alpha. In the upcoming patch repeaters are getting a buff and cannons a little nerf, so evasion will be more important. But currently combat is pretty simplistic yes
@@SoloPlayerSeven yeah, I love space sims and am keeping my eye on SC, but from what I see I will wait until it's more complete. The gameplay just doesn't look compelling after all these years. I might try Squadron 42 first when/if it comes out.
@@algroyp3r awesome! Keep your eye on citcon this year, rumors are going around they will give a full release date for sq42, they announced it being feature complete last October/November
@@algroyp3rthere's more depth to the combat. More coming. Waiting a while longer is still a good idea though. It looks like this guy is playing in the arcade mode so it's not representative of the live combat gameplay. There are free-flight weeks where you can play for free, those are good chances to see if the game is in a state worth buying (note all purchases are more like Kickstarter pledges, you only need the base game pack and starter ship for $45, don't put more into the game until you're really into the game).
@@crispy9175 How long would it take to get a decent combat ship for in-game currency? $45 is a fair price to start playing, but I'm really put off by pay to win ships sold for hundreds of dollars.
hey there bud, i think you got a missile on your tail, just in case you didn't know XD

Dude what keybinds do you use to change the power triangle mfd so fast. I hate it defaults to that on that ship.

so what do you think, is M cannons better than Omnisky?
@@Ono_on0 omni for general use, m series if you have good game performance for mega alpha. But omni mostly because they are easier to use
