God i love beat em ups. Capcom Best em Ups are my favorite with Knights of the Round and King of Dragons. Especially Knights of the Round I love Arthurs playstyle and solid Swordplay

I've heard of most of these. Fight 'N Rage and River City Girls were my favorite so far. I got The Takeover and Scott Pilgrim on a sale.
River City Girls is so good. One of my favorites on any system.

Surprised you didn't bring up Final Vendetta (even though that game is HARD). Also, 99Vidas is worth checking out.
