Many might have forgotten you by now. As for me & the kids, we will never forget you. You taught me how to love, your unselfish love nurtured us. With you I got a chance to be me, no pretense. With me you also got to be yourself. We were so comfortable with each other. Meeting you in 1989 was by fate but loving you came natural. I remember everything like it was yesterday. Living together in that squashed apartment with the "slaves" till you got your own apartment.

I remember when I started doing your dreadlocks, didn't know what I was doing but u just smiled & let me play with your hair. You were such a generous man. I do love you, still.
