I wish they’d do this in IDW, instead of just having Shadow disappear without a word. TMOSTH showed he actually does care about everyone, so I really wish they’d make more of an effort to involve him rather than letting him go off. If Whisper and Surge are encouraged to hang around, they should be encouraging Shadow as well.
He been care everyone, He just doesn't show. That's not something new.

I really like all the cute little Sonic channel stories for the 30th anniversary. I honestly like them more than any Sonic game story post Colors DS. Hope Toyoda gets to write more stuff he does a really good job.

THAT WHY HE (‼️Spoiler Alert IDW Metal Virus Saga‼️) GOT INFECTED SO EASILY, HE DIDN'T "NEED" TO HELP
Nah, looking at that scene again, he got infected so easily because he wore himself out real fast stressing over everyone, then when he got infected, his mind ran rampant about how could possibly be infected. The death blow was Rouge yelling for him to run, in which (although not shown) he clearly suffered some sort of ptsd trigger attack, and was locked in that until it was impossible for him to escape in time.
Sad, but short of someone or something slapping sense into him (which most would then be infected, unless Sonic had come back earlier, not that it’s Sonic’s fault at all for Shadow’s thick head), there wasn’t any way to save Shadow in that moment.

My personal reading of that scene given shadows more modern depictions was that he genuinely believed he was ultimately doing a service by choosing not to run, if anything I wouldn't even think he COULD get infected considering he was designed to withstand illnesses and inturn be used to cure them, maybe he believed he wouldn't get infected and in turn didn't think through his plan completely, and was more concerned with attempting to stop the horde than his own safety,
That's not what they intended, and I AM coping, but still.
@@PolkaDotAfroCircus06 He ran with Maria when G.U.N attacked. That’s why I figure the term “Just run away!” Is *triggering* to him. He ran once, and he lost *everyone important to him.*
Of course, with this incident, by *not running,* he almost got the exact same result. Probably why he’s solo for the moment. He needs time to recover after that. 😢

I wish "Infinite the Jackal" was here to face Shadow the Ultimate Lifeform once again.
However, it's not gonna happen anymore. Because Sonic and his friends killed him at the very end of Sonic Forces.
Sonic: (cockiness) "Trust is an issue for you, Shadow. That's why you don't have any friends."
(Sigh) I guess Sonic the Hedgehog (from Sonic Prime series) was right. Shadow the Ultimate Lifeform is not gonna have real friends, family or something and never will. He has no love, friendship, kindness or anything in his heart at all. Because he's always a loner, an edgelord, and worse...
He's just not ready for the world. 😔

I believe he's reminding Shadow of his promise to Maria and him pointing to himself is him trying to (in his own way) tell Shadow that he can still honor that promise whilst being apart of the team. Since both of them ultimately have the same goal, Shadow believes the world doesn't need two supersonic hedgehogs fighting side by side. It needs them to be separated, doing their own things and fighting in their own ways.

Shadow the Ultimate Lifeform should've stayed dead or sealed away for good in the very end of Sonic Adventure 2.
Bringing Shadow back in Sonic Heroes-present was our fault.
Disagree, is the fans at the time had no way of knowing Sega would just give up on writing characters and historys, his return and characters on héroes was decently executed and his character and role in 06 were great, which proof that him being around can be a good thing, but after Shadow the hedgeog and 06 Sega seems to have taken all the wrong mesages, instead of seeing rushin out a Game that needed another year to be ready as the Main mistake they Made, they understood that nobody wanted to see other characters in a Sonic Game and no one wanted a serious story on a Sonic Game, so they proceeded to ignore or put no effort in writing any story or any characters other than Sonic, adding characters like Shadow just as publisity stuns instead of actually thinking of what he would do, after Unleash they weren't Even trying write Sonic. Every character has been treated as trash for over a decade and a half, is not a Shadow problem, is a writers or lack there of problem
