Daniel, you must be the most honest person on the Internet. To post a video where you assess the value of your product and take responsibility when it doesn't meet your standards is truly amazing. While I haven't bought a lot from you in the past, your coin shop is definitely one I will patronize and recommend to others.
Over the past few years, I've done a lot of business with Daniel. We've made trades, I've sold to him, and I've bought a lot off of his website. He and I are several states apart, and we've never met in person. I hope to meet him one day. I found him on RUclips, and after watching his videos for a while, I decided he is an honest and trustworthy coin dealer with a wealth of knowledge. I've done many thousands of dollars in business with Daniel. There's one thing for sure, you will be happy with your purchases from Daniel, his packaging is the best, and shipping is very fast.
You're me hero! This .........." THIS " is a good man y'all!!!
Standing ovation Daniel. Ty I wish I could express so much more deeply how I appreciate you and yours. ❤
You are a man of good character Daniel. The thought of getting a youngster interested in coins and history warms my heart. ❤
I would have been happy with what came out of that bag. Thanks for being so honest, Daniel.
I purchased two lots as gifts for a young coin collector. What a treat it was to see how excited he was going through the first lot - sorting them by date and year and then watching him put them into his coin folder. Every coin was special and we got two semi-key dates 1911 D and 1932 D and a 1927 S that, to me, is a borderline semi-key date. On top of that there were four Indian Head Cents (two 1907 and two 1887) that he had never seen before.
We haven't even opened the second lot yet!
Thanks for doing these. It is a great way to inspire young coin collectors and allow a fossil like me to remember just how fun it was going through pennies when I got started.
Any plans to put some of the these sets together for the holidays? I think they would make great gifts.
If I can I will, might have to use other denominations. Thanks!!
I bought 3 of these bags, I was very pleased with the selection and variety!!! Was able to fill 4 holes in my book plus upgrade quite a commons, plus a few other surprises. The bags are the best deal out there!!! Thx Daniel & Andy!!!
Thank you!!
Always fun searching wheaties. That’s how many of us got started collecting I’m guessing
Never had a problem with any of your "mysteries" or scratch and dent bags. We've done a few of them and have had value, variety and FUN in every single one of them. What you said is what I always say in the videos, what a great way to get a child into Coin collecting or yourself back into it. Thanks for all you do Daniel and family at PC&C!!
Thank you
this video is so much fun ! love wheats !
Thanks Daniel. You have some nice wheat lots ! If I could have, I would have bought a bag.
Me too. I’m heading to Omaha to meet my girlfriend’s grandsons. They are just the right age to plant the collecting itch. I bought them Whitman folders and put together a good heap of wheat cents so they can see stuff they aren’t likely to get in change.
Throw in a key/semi key date to a random bag or three. People love that kinda stuff.
You didn't watch the video, because that is what I did.
Thank you Daniel I received a 1974 D ( AU condition) in each bag. Both bags was worth the purchase including shipping. I could go on however, I was pleased! Thank you! Joel do you have more?
The mix looks like other accumulations I've previously bought, including some culls. But it's still a fun mix. The 1915-P is a better date. I'm surprised there weren't any 1909-P.
I thought the bags were cool especially if you were filling a album or something! You should do different types of bags like all quarters an all dimes, plus nickels an one with fifty cent piece bags it would be nice!
For me it was the hunt for special wheat pennies with Father, that started my interest in coins.
Daniel, My package arrived amazingly packaged and the mint sets are exactly as they should be! I recommend you to all of my ohio friends and family.
Thank you
To me, it's always about the hunt. That's the fun part of collecting
Bought 2 bags at the show. It was worth the price, in my opinion. Nothing fantastic, but 9 Indian heads (my first), many additions and upgrades . The oldest was a 1911. And I was very happy to meet Daniel .
Thank you
Good job
Thanks again Mr Daniel. Very good video. I missed this year’s deal with Maple Leaf’s with Charles on it. I think in 2023 it was March or April. Have an awesome day!!!!!
Great way to peek interest in the hobby as a kid getting a wheat cent back in change was like winning the lottery to me and if it's worth what your asking then that's even better with the chance to find earlier dates it's a win all around
Hey Daniel. Hope all is well.
I just watched Jason from Coin Snobz ( RUclips channel ) open up a $ 50 mystery grab bag (scratch and dent) from your store. The most fun I had was watching him attempt to open it.. I thought to myself, yup been there before.
The grab bag was awesome as I thought it would be. He was very pleased. Lots of coins were in the bag. Take a bow sir, you've earned it.
As always, I appreciate the channel and infinite wisdom you have and the willingness to share with us.
Thank you. I did see it.
nice job, I picked up a scratch and dent lot, nice value. Fun to open.
Awesome video Daniel! It was great how you gave them all a values in their different conditions.😃👍
I would be happy with that, just to sit back, or one of the grand children, go through the bag, look at... Look..well worth it.
Keep me out of trouble for awhile... Id hAve 5/ or more minuets in each coin.. Have fun...❤
God bless you all. ❤
Big like number 187! Excellent video and thank you so much for sharing!
Nice hunt. I think the price is fair. Thanks for sharing
Love this video, Daniel. Thanks for sharing. 😃
Good video!
Thanks for the video, Daniel. Enjoy your day!!!☺☺
I need some of them for my book.
Great way to also upgrade the coins in your collection!
Great video Daniel last nite I was watching alot of ur videos very educational Thanks still am learning about coins sets etc 😊😊
Thank you
Mystery bags are my fave!!! It just like getting customer wrapped rolls from the bank! Never know what you might find and it’s exciting when you come across something cool! Either way you at least have a book filler if nothing else! Enjoyed the video! Hope you have a wonderful day!❤❤
I have my sons pennies that he collected as a child. My granddaughter inherited them and I've been working on selling them as she is in college. I have 1909 vdb and 1 1909 s, I have a lot of coins that were graded by the shop he bought the from. Mostly 65's. Also, a lot from 1909 to 1939. Would it be worth it to have some grades? Thanks for your help and for the wonderful videos.
I buy indian cents for $1 each at my LCS. Have bought over 100 of them. I used to kick up the indian cents from the dirt as a kid, love em.
Thank you for another great video
Thank you for the video. I may want to check out our site. I may get one or two of these wheat cent bags. Maybe get something in the scratch and dent lot to help out the channel. 👍
Can you do Indian head bags???!
Great video BrUdDeR nice glad bags 😊
Right the way you can just tell what the dates of the coins are just by looking at the color and be able to tell if it's been cleaned or not 😊
I will say that I would be annoyed to find memorial cents in a bag advertised as wheat cents, and if a good number of them were corroded or had other environmental damage I would be annoyed all the more.
However, the above caveats notwithstanding, I provide the following for consideration. I am not trying to be critical; just wanting to provide more detailed information.
The shipping will be high because USPS has become much more expensive, but IMO is still the best option. If it costs $10 to ship, then that's what it costs. I know how well your business packages items, and I know all that packaging is a cost to the business.
I am using 3.11 grams per coin as a weight, and 454 grams to a pound. Taking reduced weight due to wear, that works out to about 150 coins per pound.
The total price for a 1-pound bag is $35 including shipping. That works out to about 23 cents for each coin.
Whether that is a good or bad price will be up to the individual, and I will keep my opinion to myself.
It’s what the entire lot is worth, not a generic average per coin.
Greetings from Chesapeake, West Virginia. I've been coin roll hunting penny and nickel boxes for many years. I get mostly wheat cents from the 40's and 50's. But every now and then I do get a wheat cent before the 1930's. And a couple of times I have found an Indian cent.👍😃
LAST YEAR I PURCHASED 19 ROLLS OF 1941 P LINCOLN CENTS AND TO MY SURPRISE AFTER GOING THROUGH ALL OF THEM CAREFULLY I FOUND 4 DOUBLE DIE'S IN THESE ROLLS!!!
hi Daniel, since these have gone through your shop, are they all looked over as far as errors and rpm's etc. ? or do you get too many to check ? i dont have the best vision and as much fun as it is going through them , it would be the diff of looking at each one w the m scope. thanks, your honesty and your smile are top shelf , cheers !
We don’t have time to go through all of these. I only look for the top valuable errors either way.
Been a while since I hunted american cents. What's the wheat rate on a box these days? Like 25, or 30? Most of them 1940s and '50s with very few pre 1930s.
You could spend $25 on gas alone going back and forth to the bank, hunting boxes, and not come up with anything like what was here. You'll never pull an UNC steel. A '10-S would be one of those once in a great, great while finds.
It's actually a good deal if you like coin roll hunting. I used to buy old nickel bags at double face, but there wasn't anything really worth much in them other than my choice unc '44 that has yet to be toppled by an upgrade. It was a great start to kick off my collection though, and I still have that set going 10 years later.
Funny story, I once bought a big bag of nickels in the US and when I went through the TSA scanners on the flight to Canada, they flagged me for it and really thought I had something dangerous because apparently a bag of nickels looks like an improvised plastic explosive on the x-rays. I assured them it was just nickels, then they hit me with "you're not allowd to export more than $5 worth of nickels. (Prevention of melting coins for metal scrap)
"Well they're all Canadian," I replied. And then they let me go.
So the lesson is, if you're gonna fly with a 5 pound bag of coins in your carry on, put it in it's own tray through the X-rays. It'll save you a lot of hassle. 😅
Thank you for your videos brother. Very informative and I have learned alot. Thanks for your honesty and kindness. God bless u my friend .
♻️ Enjoy your show 🌻 thanks for the info ♻️ watch ing from North Alabama ⛈️
What part of north Alabama are you in. I’m near Decatur.
Wish I could come visit your shop as I would LOVE to buy a few of those bags. BUT, I don't have a car and live on the left coast. I think they are worth it...even with the shipping.
Could spice it up a little with a free morgan in every bag
or a $500 bill
Do you still have some for sale? like I said, I need some of the small dates for my book,
No small dates in wheat cents. I have them up on our website portsmouthcoinshop.com
Good morning Daniel from Maryland. How are you feeling today Daniel?
I would like to purchase a few mystery cent bags. Where can I buy them from? Thanks in advance
portsmouthcoinshop.com
@@CoinHELPuPardon me but I'm confused. I checked every tab in the menu on your site and even typed mystery bags in the search bar and only saw 4 listings which didn't include your wheat cent bags. I also searched lincoln cents and still didnt find the the bags advertised in this video. Was thinking of just calling the number provided on site and place my orders. Would that be easier? Please help. Ty
@@umidad9252 they sold out fast. I am working on doing something else. Thanks!
Do you have to be a coin dealer to subscribe to Grey Sheet?
