I'm a drummer. Love to watch drummers on the net. She is one of the best I've ever heard. Never disappoints. Her sense of timing and off timing is the best. And she writes it all herself. I could just watch her all day and never be bored.

+Alex Khouri I can't be denied that I like snarky puppy, but it's more an influence I still have from back in the days where I've played a lot modern dance music with a super low tuned side snare... I still love that sound!

+Anika Nilles Ah right. I recognised it from your old kits, though you had it on the other side with those. Also, am I right in saying that the huge crash on your left is super thin? You can see it gyrating around even without the video being slowed down :P

+Matthias FOYER Sput and Larnell weren't the first -- it goes back many years. Guys like Spanky and Chris Dave (to mention just a few) have been doing it for a while now... :)

What a treat to listen to. This rhythm format is new to me, the 5/4 swing or whatever it's officially called. Playing a swing beat with 5 notes instead of 6. It gives it this really loose, groovy feel that I haven't really heard before.
She's playing quintuplets, or 5 notes per beat. Sounds a little bit "sloppier" or "loose" as you were describing because of that missing note that were accustomed to in a regular sixtuplet swing. Hope that helps!

Fantastic!!! Not only is your playing superb but the actual sound of the drums and the mix is incredible.
don't much care for bad editing and frame removal to make the playing seems 'tighter' or 'snappier'. she is good, her video editor is not.
Absolutely fantastic music and groove to go with it. Flawless technique and ability to merge the technical with the flowing. Superb!
I think it's too noisy. The effect cymbals are totally overloaded. Can barely hear the ghost notes and details of playing.
