why fluoride is a good nucleophile in polar aprotic solvent? as we know the negative charge is stable on highly electronegativeatom.shouldnot iodine be good nucleophile due to high polarazibity.

Due to solvation I guess...the molecules will surround Fluorine more than Iodine, and it's mobility will decrease which will decrease it's nucleophilicity.

If I- is a weak nucleophile in aprotic solvent, and aprotic solvents favor SN2, why does I- favor SN2, when SN2 is favored by a strong nucleophile ?
