It's going to have to be one hell of a tire to beat the new 37" Zillas in the rocks of Moab/Sand Hollow.. I do love that it's built for a 15 inch rim though.
Haha not being on a 17” wheel already makes it better. Joking aside like we said in the video they are every bit as good as the Zillas in the rocks but you get a lot more life and durability with the xrox. We are big fans of the zilla and have them as well and we have been running these two tires side by side(pun intended) for over two years.
@@SlikRokProductions Well we are testing 37 inch tires now for our 4 seat krxs to see what we want to run on our touring fleet next year. If they are as good as you cats say, we might have to throw a set of the MTRs into the mix.
So we have been running this tire for a couple years and have absolutely loved it. the new part is just getting it in the 37x11r15. We have ran this tire and smashed it in windrock Tennessee several times now. It really is a great tire and excels even more so back east because of the tougher sidewalls! Hope that helped but feel free to keep asking questions -Jake
@@SlikRokProductions I'd be interested in testing a set out here at Windrock, Tackett Creek, Smorr, Hollerwood, Royal Blue, West Virginia Outlaw Trails, Hatfield McCoy and a few other places if Mark and you guys would consider it. Thanks Curt.
You've not tried to hard to break them my wife busted a side wall first ride mrt did replace it two rides later she busted another one and mrt will not replace it she's going back to zillas
Haha oh I bet we have. That sounds like really bad luck or really bad driving. Zillas are a 2ply sidewall and have blown several out and the MRT xrox did is a Kevlar side and never had an issue. You running actual MRT xrox dd tires?
@@SlikRokProductions All I know is she's done the same climbs with zillas and never popped one and has already busted two of these and mrt is not standing behind the second one

I only see then in the 17s
Cannot seem to find this MRT tire in 15 inch
Did you say that you believe the super sticky version last longer in your opinion than the standard compound?
That has been our experience but we don’t drive our sticky tires outside of the rocks
I didn't see in the video, but what is the actual tread width as it sits?
Just shy of 11”
When will you guys do a test video ? Im on the east coast and we like zillas here. But will entertain something new.
