I like the spirit of it! I definitely could see/would like to see, an official creation like this, with the "Trials of the Grail" the three easily would tie in neatly with the three room panel, like the Fertility Idol.

I think you should start a series where you take sets from all themes and try to make alternate builds of them that are scenes in Indiana Jones!

Brilliant idea to turn 2 modern Indiana Jones sets (and custom figures) into a scene from one of the films! Feels like a combo model from back in the day. In terms of engineering, I can excuse the saw blade/web function because it still got the premise, but I really liked the falling floor panels. Again, something classic LEGO or even some traces of Ninjago might do! Excellent job! You have built...wisely.
I love the spelling of god’s name part. I would honestly love to do this with the temple of doom the giant head in the og set could easily be turned into kali and the entrance would be willie’s room.
This is so epic in the next wave lego should totally make this!

I was thinking about doing something similar myself. I got the Indiana Jones Ultimate Guide because it has a cross section of the temple, showing the 3 trials in full detail

Well it's definitely setup in the correct order of events, and it's honestly nice to see that the same size setup COULD be used to build a Temple of the Holy Grail from The Last Crusade movie! So given all of that, well done sir! Although due to piece restrictions, it really does leave a lot to the imagination to fill in the blanks, doesn't it? lol

I was thinking of doing something similar, I’ve already made a dart hall extension for the temple of the golden idol that has falling pressure plates and stud shooter dart faces that work with the durning of the dial like the rest of the features. I think it would be really cool if LEGO released that small expansion on its own for a lower price and I’m hoping to come up with a similar tactic for a temple of the holy grail diorama

Theres a CMF figure named "Potter" from series 24 that has 2 ceramic looking bowls and a ceramic chalice that looks and works so well for the grail piece. I'd love for you to use it instead of the gold chalice!
I might have left the Leap of Faith section blank, but with a trans clear piece in the middle, and various loose circular 1x1 brown/yellow pieces for the dust.
This is absolutely excellent. Great work. The only thing that's missing is lettering for when Indy spells out Jehovah, or however it's spelled in Latin. Maybe you could use some of the letters from the Lego Jazz Club.
That would break the rules of the challenge!

The temple from the movie is a Lego set it is a VIP exclusive that you get with three other buildings. It is a real building and I learned that when I saw the VIP set.

Lego wouldn't have to spell out Jehovah. Just have a bunch of random letters, where you can spell Jehovah, but they're all scrambled. The only letter you'd need to repeat is the 'h'.
