Being half Swedish and born in Stockholm (although always living in other countries) I always need to come back. Such a beautiful city. Tack så hemskt mycket!
The first snow around here too, on Saturday night (though most of it melted off during Sunday). I'm from Skåne, southern Sweden and some years there's no snow at all around here until well into January (while other years it can be early and rich). Have been to Stockholm lots of times and this walk really catches the beauty of our capital! :)
I live near the equator. I have never seen this kind of weather in my entire life except in movies or documentaries. I'd be glad to experience someday..

My dad is Swedish and it's a big part of my upbringing and identity, which is a story unto itself. I was lucky to visit Stockholm and other parts of Sweden in 2014 and your videos keep this city alive to me, so much that I can consider Stockholm my third hometown, after the Detroit area and Chicago. Your videos have exquisite pacing and almost tell a story in each one. I love how respectful they all are. No spinning around and making me dizzy -- you just take me on a journey while I listen to an album of my choice (often Opeth or Katatonia, local bands for you haha) . Tack så mycket. It's Thanksgiving here, and I wanted to express my appreciation.

Such a lovely walk. The foggy weather with the snow flurry conjures up a really nice atmosphere, that's how I like it. But I feel sorry for all the people who have to work outside in such a weather so that everything continues to run smoothly.
Do not worry, we're quite taken care of by our government to have the right clothes at the right conditions through our jobs. Having a couple of brakes throughout the day to get inside for warmth now and then with some hot coffee is not taken from our paychecks either. We thank you for your concern however, very kind of you.

You need some captions so we know what we are looking at. The buildings are beautiful but I want to know the names & where you are walking, streets & such.

It’s amazing how parts of this city resemble a small city in New England. Its a bit more rural out here though. I love the idea of outdoor Christmas markets.
It never occurred to me prior to watching this video to give Stockholm a simple Google Image search. That being said, I suppose I was expecting a more "modern" European capital of glass and steel with maybe a "district" built around its surviving old and traditional architecture. That doesn't seem to be the case here. Indeed, much of the city you've presented in this video is comprised solely of historic architecture, which is both a joy and wonder to behold. And under cover of snow, it looks like something straight out of a Christmas card. Tack så mycket, as the Swedes say, for this lovely little stroll!
