Thank you very much, keep this kind of content up! Writers are going to gravitate towards this as long as it is still around and accessible. I can't wait for my future.
Thank you for your video chat. I can relate a lot to how you started writing. I started at age nine and actually published. There is a story behind it, and I have continued to write and publish. Currently working on a novel. Yes, our writing does get pushed away from us a lot in life, especially as a single mom of four now all grown up. It is a commitment. Sometimes, you have to make realistic choices when you have to survive. I did keep up with journaling and writing stories when the time was available Writing groups helped too. I find now that I have lived more, I write more and better than when I was younger. I've gone from Children's books to adult novel writing, something I started in high school. My English teacher kept my mystery stories, too. I try to write at least 2000 words a day. It is tough on ourselves, though, when we don't meet our goals. I have done that note-taking on my phone, on the back of receipts, and on a tape recorder. Now 64, there is no more stopping the writings. My non-fiction writing is where I want to be now. Love it. Loved this video.
I adore that you published your book at 9! And kept going even when life was busy. It sounds like you have a great routine and by writing 2000 words a day, it's clear your 'writing muscle' is strong 🧡
Fantastic advice! Thanks! I'm retired but have a busy bass fishing schedule once warm weather returns (we do have summer here in New Hampshire; last year, summer was a Tuesday). Thanks for providing tools for me to carve out "Time Pockets" from my fishing day. I do take notes on my iPhone but your permission to "write" that way makes it legit! We already have a weekly goal-setting challenge from The Sellable Book Inner Circle but now I'm inspired to choose clearer goals! Thanks again! Roger, AKA Super Rog
Hi Roger, it's wonderful that you make the most of your iphone. I know writers who write their entire books that way! It's such a useful tool when you're on the go. So glad you found Daria's session helpful 😃
@@emmadhesi Yeah! At 71 I'm not the MOST iPhone savvy, but I can take photos, text, and record notes. Oh, and use it as a phone (the least common use for me). I'm so glad Anne Helmstadter recommended your program! "See" you tomorrow!
This was extremely good and inspiring. Thank you so much; I took notes. Scheduling has been procrastination for me. I love the idea of knowing approximately the number of words for the book I'm writing (number of average pages). I'm going to set up my schedule like you said--weekly makes a lot of sense for me instead of daily goals. Thank you for that direction.
Keep your word to "YOURSELF" ❤
So powerful! ❤

I was a non-reader too. Thanks for the great tips on balancing my time and getting writing done!
Awesome! It really encouraged me. Thank you, Daria and Emma.
Excellent interview! Thank you!
"We do what we care about." Yes! Wake-up call!
Absolutely! 😆
Wonderful tips on how to be flexible and stay accountable. Thank you.
That really resonated with me as well 😃
Awesome Interview and shares.
Daria rocks! 😃
@@emmadhesi you're not so bad yourself. We appreciate you.
I loved this. Thanks Daria and Emma
You're so welcome 😃

Getting to know how much I can write (on average) per session really helped me plan my writing schedule 👍
I didn't read my first (whole) book until age 19.
If you care to know the exact quote it goes "fail to plan, plan to fail."
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
