Monticello Florida - Driving Through

Monticello is the only city in Jefferson County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,506 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Jefferson County. The city is named after Monticello, the estate of the county's namesake, Thomas Jefferson, on which the Jefferson County Courthouse was modeled.

Drove through last September on the way to Orlando from Montgomery,Al & stopped at a subway for a sandwich, where they were intrigued by our British accents. Pleasant people and town😁

Being from Monticello fla i would not want to live any else. Tried south Florida for a while. But while was in the palm beaches the back of my mind was the song COUNTRY road take me HOME 🏡.
