- It's always a little tough to talk about lack luster race performance but it's also helpful in the learning process as a whole.
So here is my Cheq 40 race. Being the shortest race of the Lifetime GP I was hoping for a much better result, especially after leaving my home town UCI CX race for this.
I came off the front group over the firetower climb, managed to reconnect, then lost contact for good.
Time for a little rest then it's on to Trinidad! 2 more rounds to go in the LTGP. Let's put something good together!
These videos take a lot of time to make and sometimes the adventures are expensive. If you feel like donating to encourage/help me offset costs, THANKYOU! Your contribution is greatly appreciated and gives me the resources to provide y'all more content.

Glad to have you in the North Woods for the Chequamegon 40. Hope your stay in Wisconsin was enjoyable. Good luck the rest of 2023 and into Cross season.
I always enjoy your recaps. Hopefully you will continue to make them.
Thanks Kerry. rest !
Nice shirt!!
Hey Kerry - are you coming to Iceman again this year? Also, any CX racing for you this fall?
I'll be there! yes. I'll do hendersonville after sscxwc and also nationals.
audio levels seem a bit low...
oepsie, was my RUclips-volume, sorry!
@@janvanderwegen01 nah its just low
Seems good to me
I’ve got no problems. Sorry.
Did you use 100mm fox 32 in the front and 120 in the rear?
So were the drop bars an advantage?
Drop bars were for sure. I was able to surf through the group so easily. Lots of gaps in the group when everyone is on 700+mm bars.
Being so elite I always wonder why you start so far back off the start line and have to chase so much? 😬
Had to be bittersweet doing this race while GOCross was happening at home.
Audio way too low my man
Why bother using a MTB on easy terrain? A gravel bike would have better gearing and lighter. There was zero tech.
Honestly, I should’ve used the Libre with a suspension fork. Similar to Pete’s setup. That would’ve been a better bike for this race.
