Dang. That looks like a really comfortable carver! That’s definitely the one I’ve got my eye on for the future. Great vid. Thanks for showing off your gear! 😎👍
@@bluemind4225 I ended up getting the Big Dipper. It’s great. Super comfortable. I guess it all depends what kind of skating you want to do. My guess is that the Big Dipper would feel similar to your Drop Cat. It feels similar to my Drop Hammer…but the Big Dipper is a MUCH smoother ride than my Drop Hammer because of the flex. I’ve never tried the Rally Cat. It looks cool though. Good luck choosing.
@@hayhead92 awesome! I’m an adult rider too and not super interested in taking a dive while carving. Sometimes it’s tough to tell from pictures and just better to ask someone who’s tried it. Thanks again.
@@BBQvibesLONGBOARDrides No Problem. It's a concern for me as well. I always do a bite check on any new boards or set ups before riding. I like my trucks fairly loose so I'll start as loose as possible and tighten if I feel any bite.
Hello 👋 I am looking for the longboard for my son. He needs one for the college. He is a beginner, 6’5” tall, shoes size 14. Do you think this one is a good choice. I have no idea what to look for
The Landyachtz Switchblade 40 would also be a good choice for someone as tall as him. It has drop through trucks for a lower board height which makes pushing more comfortable. The Big Dipper Mountain is a great board but for a beginner who's commuting I'd recommend the Switchblade 40.
This seems like a longboard.
A goooood longboard.
Super nice & flowy video! Also love that board, quite hard to get outside eu 😅

Your welcome! It's a great board.
I have a drop cat 38 , hesitate between dipper and rallycat

Cool! Just orders this deck. Can’t wait to build it and test it out. Look fun and flexy!
It's amazing! Your gonna love it!
Dude !!
A nice spot,i m surprised by the way you put your front foot on the board. If not, what happens? Does it tend to slide ?
No, I'm more forward on the board for more leverage and control of the front truck when turning.
Ooh this board looks 👍
Super fun board. I think it's going to be a big seller for Landyachtz.
How durable will it be with such high flex? Considering this deck for myself
I haven't had any issues so far. Landyachtz is known for high quality.
I just have one more question if that’s ok. How is this board in the wheel-bite department? Does it bite at all? Thanks in advance for your input.
Never had any wheel-bite on this board so far.

This length would be good for his height bit it's pretty flexy so I'd say 260lbs body weight or less.

In this video you don't even put your foot down to push. Was tha route flat and your speed was just from carving?
The road has a slight decline. A couple kicks to get going followed by pumping to generate speed.
Would you prefer the dipper or the big dipper?
It's close but I'd give the win to the Big Dipper.
Regular Dipper is more versatile but the Big Dipper is so darn fun to carve turns.
