THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVE SHOWS MRS.HART, I'M NOW 73 BUT I REMEMBER SO WELL NEVER HEARD MY NAME BUT I STILL ENJOYED THE SHOW! THIS WAS SO SWEET TO HEAR YOU ONCE AGAIN! THANKYOU BEYOND MEASURE FOR THE PLEASANT MEMORIES🙏🌹🌹🌹🙋
Romper Room, and the Magic Mirror, are my earliest memories! How nice to have stumbled upon your channel! ❤️ P.S. I was always a little relieved that I wasn't "seen" because I was very shy!
So cute! Better late than never lol! I watched you every morning. When i subscribed awhile back i had no idea you were the romper room lady! Loved you then, love you now!💖
Lady YaYa same! For some reason I’ve been thinking about romper room in that magic mirror for the last several months and out of the blue I subscribed today and just saw this!
I will be 70 on my next birthday. I grew up with Romper Room in Brooklyn , NY. We had Miss Maryanne on Channel 9. I loved all the routines and structure of the show. It was so comforting as a child. I grew up and became a teacher who taught primary grades in NJ for 39 years. Romper Room was a big influence on my life. Thank you for your service to all children !🤗🤗🤗
Liz, I lived on the NJ Shore for 44 years!! Romper Room was a wonderful program for children in it’s time. I will always treasure my time as a Romper Room teacher. ❤️. Sandra
I am slightly giving away my age (21-plus, LOL), but my 'Romper Room' teacher was Miss Joan Thayer. I have vivid memories of watching it at nursery school with my teacher and schoolmates.
I was a Do Bee, Sandra. I always kept hoping I'd hear my name, now I kind of have, lol. Brought back many great memories my beautiful friend. Blessings, and love...MaryEllen
I was a Do Bee too. I kept listening for my name. So wonderful to share that memory my beautiful Midwest sista. And Sandra my gorgeous friend. I think you saw us all. My heart is full of joy. We are all here now together as friends ❤️❤️❤️
In 1971 I was a teenage runaway waitressing at Hollywood's C.C. Brown's. And that year at our holiday boulevard parade the Romper Room lady stopped and came to our storefront, giving me a 'Do Bee' sticker. I'll never forget it, or her. Was it you? Anyway, I've since led a full and wonderful life after those troubled years of youth, and I'll never forget my lovely Romper Room lady, whoever she was...💖
I watched Miss Maryanne in Oakland CA back in 1967. Was on channel 2 KTVU. You people really reached the youth. Wish they had something great these days
I am so glad I found your channel, I watched romper room as a child and now I am almost 59. Love your channel, you are a very classy lady with a beautiful smile and lots of wisdom!!!!
So precious Sandra. Thank you!! I know you had simeone who shared their loved one's pain in not seeing their name as a child. Blessings to you! May this shed a little light in the healing of those who need it. 💐
I used to watch, hopefully, to hear my name. It never happened. Haha, finally, at 60, I’ve been listening to a man called Fireside Reading, who reads a chapter of a book every night on Instagram , then later uploads the chapters on RUclips. It gives me the greatest pleasure to hear him say my name, and I always think back to Romper Room. How strange to stumble upon the lady with the magic mirror all of these years later.
This brought tears to my eyes and filled my heart. So sweet! I too was one of the little ones who hoped to hear my name, but didn't. Brought me back to when I was a little girl. Thank you!
We had Romper Room here in Australia My goodness how wonderful to learn that you are Miss Sandra of U S Romper Room and lady I learn so much from now in your videos Must say you are as pretty now as then Regards from Australia
I was 9 in '69 and my younger sister, Julia Joann (aka, JayJay), was 4 and I remember watching Romper Room with her! Whenever I hear the words, " Romper Room" , I think of my sweet sister (who passed away from cancer in 2002 at the young age of 37). This show brought light into our lives as young children! Thank you❤
Oh My!!!! That’s who she is, as a little girl I would watch her show daily! This brought back so many memories. To this day I I will once in a while bring up the show to my kids Wow
I watched you all the time❤️. I was thrilled to find out after watching you that you were the Romper room lady. Brings back memories of watching you at my grandparents house
Thank you, Sandra! From that tender age onward my name wasn’t called. Throughout my life I made things happen - often without a mentor. No matter. Things happen for a reason. I’m proud of my accomplishments, and grateful for life. But it is truly lovely of you to give us all a shoutout. After all this time it still means a lot. ❤💗❤
my mother sat me and my sister at a little table in front of the tv when Romper Room came on. There was also a cartoon that played sometime in the show and the kids were given milk and cookies ( i think) And my mom would give us milk and cookies too . Watching you call out the names through the magic mirror Were Soo Magical!! God Bless You and Hurray for me because this morning I found your You Tube Channel!!!!❤ Love Patty
Oh my gosh Ms. Sandra I always watched this program. I always wanted you to say my name. After all these years I come across the beautiful lady with the magic mirror. I am now 57 years old. You made so many little friends back in those days. ♡♡♡♡
Well, thank you very much. I remember seeing you on b & w tv when I was young. I know I was older than the children on your show then, but It was a good show for youngsters. How nice to see you again after all these years! Thank you for your wisdom.
I can’t believe this came up on my feed. What great memories. My brother and I were children on Romper Room. My ball rolled into a Cameraman one time and after that my brother was asked back for more episodes , but, not me. 😂 Thanks for sharing the memories! ❤️
Dear Sandra , we watched Romper Room but it was in the early 1960's . My daughter Cindy did watch in 1969 but she was only a baby. Thank you. We had a Romper Room teacher in Hacienda Heights ,California.
I watched this as a child. I’ve been subscribed to your channel for awhile but had no idea of the connection. I waited everyday to see if you’d say my name! Great memories. Thanks for the reminder.
Just want to thank you for doing this. As a child I wondered why you could never see me. Growing up I realized Larissa was not a popular name! Thank-you for making this complete for me at 53!!
Larissa, you have a very beautiful name, but unfortunately a very unusual one. I’m so sorry I never said your name, but I am just delighted to know you now.❤️
Thank-you! I'm South Asian and feeling very vulnerable at this time because of my brown skin. My husband jokingly picked up a mirror-shaped object tonight and started to go through the ending for Romper Room. It reminded me of how I felt as a child in the 70's. I, in response, went looking to find RR videos here only to find this! You doing this video is generous, kind, thoughtful and everything the world needs right now. Can't believe I have connected with you. You are beautiful inside and out!!
My daughter and I use to watch your show and she would always say that she was sad because she didn't hear her name when you did the birthday wishes. Thanks for all those years.
I always watched you and like many others always waiting to hear my name. So many beautiful memories. I'm so glad I found you again and so happy to learn from you once more!!!
❤❤❤ you are amazing❤ I’ve followed your channel for a long time. I don’t comment much. Maybe I’ll try to comment more. You were a part of my childhood that was good. Thank you.
I was a Do Bee Sandra. I watched Romper Room all the time and waited each time to hear my name. I would make my Mother get out the American Flag and say the pledge of allegiance with me too!
